I think your armor is great! I remember wearing clothes like that in the 60s and early 70s.

First of all Day I always love your clothes and appreciate that you change them once in awhile (some people don't you know)

Well, our computer is up and running again. I've been reading more, while resting my hands. I'm currently reading Joel, by Joel Sonnenberg. He was burnt badly in an auto accident when he was two. I like reading about people.

I always wanted read about Joni Erickson-Tada.I heard her story is a truly an inspiration.

I read her book Joni many, many years ago, before she was married. Yes, it was very inspirational.

I met and had my picture taken wih Joni a couple summers ago at one of her Family Retreats in SE Ohio. She has an incredible memory; is very down-to-earth and personable.

I heard her speak at a conference in Knoxville a couple of years ago, sorry to say, not close up.
She truly is a reflection of God's grace.

I just remembered that Joni appeared as a guest on Larry King Live around the time there was so much in the news about the Terri Schaivo case. What a woman! I remember when she first came to be known by painting with the brush in her teeth, but now she has a huge ministry, books, etc. and has done so much for physically and mentally challenged persons.

And she always gives God the glory. What a witness she is to His abiding Love!

she is quite incredible. 30+ years go, I couldn't much relate to her, but she's now a great inspiration. She admits some days she just doesn't want to get out of bed. I could envy her ability to speak clearly, but she has trials that I wouldn't want to trade for. I can blow my own nose and do my grooming. God's grace is there for all of us, no matter what.

I sometimes take those little things for granted and then I see people like Joni Erickson and it reminds me how truly blessed I am. She is an inspiration to others and like Bird said always gives God the glory.
