I just checked out that webpage Day and saw something about how Christains should relate to folks of other faiths. I've always wondered that myself. I always wondered how my dermatologist, who is Jewish, feels about my cross I wear around my neck. There's no way I'm going take it off for anybody but I just wondered. I knew a Jewish woman who saw my cross and I've seen vampires who were more OK with it.

Pray for her miggles. I know some people are set in their way. But you keep letting that light shine so others can see.{christ} .....day

Boy do I feel silly. I knew his name sounded familiar and when you posted the website I knew who he was right away. I just ordered and recieved his series of "Landmines in the path of the believer" I have not listened to them yet but I heard the one on jealousy last week on tv and it was good. My brain just ain't what it use to be.

An update on my thriftstore find. The radio I paid $75 for was appraised for $150 to 175 in an appraisal book that was written in 1997 so that means it has gone up since then. I talked with some serious collectors who encouraged me to have it updated so it would be safe to use. It might be expensive to do this because I would want someone who specializes in old radios to do it. The point was brought up that this radio (made between 1934-1936) broadcast the news of Pearl Harbor, Ike, JFk, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, World War II, the moonlanding etc. and just bringing it back to life again is exciting. I had not thought of it that way and he's right that is exciting.

What about you all, have you had any great garage sales or thriftstore finds? Maybe the attic?

Lance Armstrong has once again for the 7th time won The Tour de France. He is a great athlete and has contributed a lot to the advancement of the sport not just by winning but with new idea's in training and equipment. Congrats to him and Team Discovery.

I'm glad you asked that question, Day. Jasper is my friendly/unfriendly ghost. He breaks things, yet he fixes things, too. Sometimes he fixes things he breaks. I guess he has a change of heart sometimes.
