I do know how heavy those barrels are ~ we have then for our rubbish/recycle too, and it is a real workout for me to lug it up our long, steep driveway

Dave, Sorry that this whole ordeal had to happen when you already have enough on your plate. I'm sure that our prayers (and your sensitivity)will cause this issue with your neighbors to result in the Glorification of our Lord. I will also be praying for a successful op and a speedy recovery.

The reason for
having those bins, where, the neighbours could reach them
was to avoid, my having to pull them up those steps in the front garden

But hopefully my hernia will be repaired on Tuesday [next]
and Mary will help me until I have completely recovered

I understand...our dumpster is very heavy...a special truck with fork lifts has to pick it up...we used to fill it with horse manuer...I have thought of stopping this extra service, it is not cheap.

I was wondering about your surgery...finally, I hope and pray for a speedy recovery and for expert handling of your case.

There’s just no other way about it!
So instead of being silent, tell others about Christ.
I’m not telling you to stand on the street corners and condemn people.
But love others who are in your life today with the love of Jesus
and share His truth with them.
When you’re obedient to God’s call to give away your faith,
you’ll be fulfilled as you live out what you’re called to do!

I am a Wildflower

I am a wildflower, young and strong.
In poor, dry soil is where I belong.
My petals are as lovely as a prize-winning rose.
My dwelling place - a field where no one really goes.

I have no wealth about me
nor do I thrive in such,
for my beauty and my fragrance
do not require much.

The thistles and the thorns
are my neighbors and my friends.
We share and bear the portions
of sun and sod and rain.

And when my life is over,
just before I go,
a pod swells up inside of me
and falls into the snow.

I am a wildflower, dead and gone.
In cold, wet snow is where I belong.
I may not be as brawn as the fir at Yuletide cheer,
but my petals will be lovely sometime later on next year.

The sting of death can do no wrong
or so it seems to me.
I am a wildflower, young and strong
and evermore shall be.

And you too my dear sister in the Lord.....you have to know something that I've been meaning to tell you...I came to this forum wounded, crushed even, after being in a forum that persecuted Christians with vulgar words...I stayed (3 months) because I thought that I could win even one soul by staying....I left because I was having chest pains from the abuse. The first person who brought tears of relief to my eyes was you! You welcomed me with blessings and love and encouragement. You did not judge me, you did not make me feel like I did something wrong. I found healing here, thanks to you Gail! I can never thank you enough for being instrumental in my spiritual growth. God bless you and keep you. All my love,

Hi Birdie, we are going to a BDay party this afternoon...the one that was postponed last weekend.

I made pancakes for our breakfast...there will be some kind of catered "table" served at this party. Mary Ellen still is in the dark about the whole thing...I think.
