Yes we had about 5 inches...
but thanks to some sleet last-night, and warmer temp's today
it has for the most part been much thawed [locally]

With tonight's clear skies and many stars, that which remains
will quickly ice-over... streets will be treacherous

Thanks for your warm welcome Dave...my goodness you are getting some cold weather...I have seen the reports for Europe...quite a few people have died from the cold over there.

seemingly oblivious to their reduced road-traction
It isn't, just their own lives, that their idiotic behaviour threatens

The drivers here never adjust well to weather conditions either...fast or faster is always what most are interested in doing.

I think it is over on the mainland European countries that have had several deaths due to the cold weather.

Good morning Eagles. Thank you all for your prayers. Alan is back to work and feeling better than he has in years. Thanks Dave for clarifying "stent", this is a new word for the both of us since he now has two. Gail, your prayers work miracles! They were able to do the angioplast through the wrist artery instead of the groin and it went very well. I've managed to paint up a storm as it relieves stress for me. My latest "RIBBONS OF MUSIC" is already sold. I guess the Lord would have to provide an awful lot of stress for me to be able to quit my day job, lol

I had never heard of doing it through the wrist (vs the groin); then again I have been out of nursing a while now....amazing!!
