Good evening everyone. I'm sure glad this work week is over. I was hoping my grandson and daughter would be come, but it looks like they have two many other things going on. So, I'll spend the time working around the house. I wish we were not getting storms so I could work in the yard.

I worked on the yard here (mostly sand) and built a little Japanese style rock garden at the base of a large oak tree. I planted some mosses and ferns since it is a dry and shady area. It looks much better than before and hope to enjoy it over the coming months. I think I may have overdone it and feel a little achey today but I'm sure I'll feel better as the day goes on. to all the Eagles.

When, I did, eventually get in
pages didnt Load too-quickly

was compiled piecemeal [by addition] over several visits

Yes, Dave, I have been having problems. "Mozilla Firefox" is a much more stable server to use than Internet Explorer. Also, click twice on the "Post Quick Reply" button when you want to post instead of once.

I never used to have problems with internet explorer until we switched operating systems. I have to use Modzilla too and I don't know how to work it as well as explorer. It is a bit daunting.Today was a quiet day. Other than heading to our church for our 48 HOP for an hour or so this am I have been home tending to things here and caring for my son. My hubby did some yard work but I don't do much outside of consequence. My Christmas cactus (an inside plant) has one blossom. Not much but I am pleased as I thought it was going to die it was so totally dried out. My violet is blooming again. It always cheers me up and I actually bought tulips for myself the other day on a whim. They still look pretty nice. I have felt a little tired today but i am not sure why as I haven't really exerted myself that much. Tomorrow is another day. Nite all. Jan

Hi Kathy thank you for you good wishes. I too love my country. We are so fortunate to live in nations that allow freedom of worship. Although we do have to contend with the effects of materialism on the souls of men around us. It seems in poorer countries those with faith really have FAITH and are so hungry for the Word of God. Everyone I know that isn't a chrisitan is searching but few think to look in the bible. or to Jesus. I guess they think they understand that and categorically dismiss it. I think that is sad but I am not quite sure how to handle it. Jan

I am so-happy, that it is hard for me
not to shed tears of joy
for, they, just well up from inside

Lord, I thank you for, all of, my blessings
and praise your name before all my family and friends
your love and mercy has touched me
and my cup overflows to your glory
