I don't mind 'coming-second'

I can 'support' much-better
than, I can take the responsibility of, leading
however, 'when condfident...'
I find that I CAN.... go-for-it !!!

WE got a wee bit of snow here this afternoon but it seems to have stopped now. Not so in other round about communities. I was cold all day and longed to stay home and cuddle up in a warm fleece. However I had to go shopping as it is my #2 sons BD on WED. He will be 29 but is much younger emotionally due to his disablility and BD's are a big thing for him. I think I found some gifts he will like but he isn't easy to buy for. I am ignoring supper and expect the borders to fend for themselves tonight. Jan

Hallo peoples ~

re Personality-tests :o "fairly accurate" :scratch:

What has been professionally accurately-assessed, is
that the values merely describe the mental-instability :help: of those drumming said "tests" up.
~
For ALL meaning is --> context-Dependent <--, and changes with each different circumstance...

Each person being a truely-unique individual, there are never enough *Choices* :thumbsup: For example, on the Color-question, I favor "all Soft-pastelles" :) Yet as this was not offered as an option, how was I supposed to answer "green" ?? :D

All that said, I ranged between 37 - 48.
~~~
oh,
I just looked on what that supposedly makes me: [FONT=times new roman, new york, times, serif][FONT=times new roman, new york, times, serif][FONT=times new roman, new york, times, serif]
31 TO 40 POINTS
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest.
Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.
&
41 TO 50 POINTS
: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.
LOL, 64 colors?
I had trouble with a couple of the answers. For example, how I stand when I'm talking with someone. Well, usually I'm holding something, like you are, Spring. And usually I'm holding something because one of my kids has just thrust something into my arms ("Here!"). And I just grab it...LOL That's the mama stance, of course...
I relate to the 64 crayons. Yes, I love a lot of colors, and that was a hard question to answer, too.
Well, these little quizes are all well and good, and I suppose an interesting diversion. I remember a lipstick test that was supposed to describe personality. You were supposed to look at your lipstick, and the angle of wear was supposed to describe your personality type. LOL, I don't suppose the men could take that test...but it described me pretty accurately.
So...why don't we test these tests against each other? All the popular personality tests, and see if we can find any reliability between instruments?
Yes, Meyers Briggs versus the lipstick test! :)
Sounds fun...
Aah Sharon - youhoo!! :wave:
Please don't allow yourself to get snared in more archaic "personality-tests" like the Meyers Briggs, or
the equally-bizarre (MMPI = Minnesota Multiple-personality Inventory),with 600+ questions.
What happens is ~ Wonderful :) function-Able people, are made to suffer thru them - and sadly many in the process go Kookoo ^_^ and the doubly-bad joke is that is what they are designed :scratch: to accomplish, so there can be $THERAPY$. You know, those poor (self-empoverished) the-rapists must eat too.
Buyer beware! :eek:
I loved the 64 box of crayons. One of my all time favorites.:)
;)
really? KEWL :thumbsup: - when my daughter was 2, I bought her a 128 box Crayon-set.
Evaluating this array, she implored: "Mom there are more choices I have, right? :D "
Well, you can well-imagine, Buttercup - what our *Homeschooling* was like...
:clap:
No wonder this of God's children - as well as her peers - easily Graduated college, while yet 17 :clap:
Aah yes, *Healthy-choices* :) Annie :wave:
This one is simple and cute.
You have only five choices.
Which is your favorite color crayon of these five choices?
Red
Blue
Green
Yellow
Black
Ready?
Red Crayon
You have a kind heart, alot of 5 year olds love to eat you :)
Blue Crayon
maybe you're depressed, 3 year olds eat you :confused:
Green Crayon
You're a bit weird yet fun and you're the kind of crayon 4year olds like to eat :p
Yellow Crayon
You're wild and stand out from everyone else. You are very loved and popular. 7year olds eat you :D
Black Crayon
A very dark person you mainly keep to yourself and rarely think of others. But nobody will eat you!
I was quite happy with my results on the Myers Briggs.
First I felt confident and proud of my characteristics most of all it helped me to understand how different we are from one another and that led to learn new skills in communication, understanding and appreciating other people.
As for my fav color...I love them all but if I was to walk up to a clothes rack for a blouse or sweater and there was one Deep Raspberry Red, I would reach for that one first. I am a winter tone girl, very light Ivory complexion with dark brunette hair. Every room in my house contains some item of deep red or burgundy. Even my bed has a deep burgundy velore blanket.
Yes, I love raspberries too but my fav lipstick is Mauve.
I recall not so terribly many years ago, we were encouraged to take raspberries (and other fruits) and smooth them on our faces and lips like makeup.
I don't know that they did so much for our complexions, but they sure did taste sweet on the lips! :kiss:
My Myers Briggs results were ok...I can not remember all of it...I remember E ...
Anyway I like all colors they all add a beauty to the spectrum God created...
I am supposed to be an Autumn for makeup...I have yellow undertones...I would really like to have that done by a real professional and not someone selling makeup....
