Hi everyone...I haven't had achance to get on here much for two or three weeks..daughter been unwell and other stuff happening.
I thought, where's Dave got too, maybe he's gone on holiday, but I see he's decided to leave. What a shame...I'll miss him on here, and he was so patient explaining computer stuff and things, very helpful always, or so I found.
I do hope he might decide to come back at some point.

I am sorry to read of your having missed my presence here

It wasn't at-all, an 'easy decision' to make [to-leave]
but it was, VERY NECESSARY, in the light of day
for me, to find peace, within myself
whilst remaining able, to fellowship with REAL friends and family

Mary [here] has been very-supportive.... re: my-leaving GE
saying; "they will come-around, without-water" [a local saying]

As it was, my 'problem' had been experienced by-others
whom, over-time had also departed
from, quite-unnecesary conflict of opinion within GE
and we are able to find each other 'elsewhere'
happy, to be free of, such contention

I do hope at sometime, to open my own website/ forums
but until then, I am able to remain in contact
with many friends and family in Christ
via, Facebook/Myyearbook and another forums

I have, left my 'v-card' available here
so that my friends [those, that remain here]
can email me, whenever they may wish-to

I do also LURK upon the Prayer Requests Thread
and cover 'needs' with my prayers

Wow, no one has posted in this thread since July 9th. I have been away far to long. Dave, I respect your decision and hopefully will talk with you soon on facebook or elsewhere. Hi to everyone. I'm at my daughter's house; she is sick and have come to visit for awhile. I have missed all of you.

My husband was taken into hospital this morning with chest pains. It is quiet here but I post when I can.

Praying for Rob. Please keep us updated as you are able.

I will be going back to the hospital soon. Drs don't think it is a heart attack but Rob's bp is very low - at one point it was 83/57. He is having IV meds to help bring it back up to normal.

Good to see you keep I was away for three weeks too on holiday and kind of got out of the loop a bit. Ley I will be praying for Rod(oops I really did mean to type Rob just noticed the error) and yourself. I leave thursday for a week away to attend a family wedding in alberta. Jan

Hi everyone. Thank you for your concerns about Rob. The drs ruled out any problems with his heart but think the problem is due to his finishing a course of steroids recently. His blood pressure keeps dropping really low - in the hospital is went down to 83/57 and on discharge it was 101/71. The dr has reduced the dosage on one of his meds and I will take him back to the surgery for a check up on Friday.


I hope everyone else is ok? Our son is busy helping us sort out and clear our loft at the moment. This is a task I certaily don't relish. Does anyone else have a cluttered loft that needs clearing ?

My whole house is cluttered. Mostly with my kids stuff but I guess lots of mine too. Glad to hear Rob is out of the hospital, I hope he is feeling stronger. You guys have had lots to go through, long term health issues can be very draining emotionally I am sure. Anyway I will continue to pray.
Today is the last day before we leave, I have lots to do to get ready. Yesterday i spent the afternoon helping out our pastor with some child care. It was interesting interacting with 2 and 6 year olds after all these years. Maybe I AM ready to be a gramma. Jan

I have to admit I am finding clutter hard to cope with at the moment. We have sorted and emptied a few boxes this afternoon, so I am really pleased. I will take stuff to the tip and to the charity shop tomorrow. Now that I do find extremely satisfying

Is it my imagination or is the weather turning autumnal already ???

Where has this year gone ??
