Thank you Tom
I am sure you will have read about
that it is for 'endpoint user protection' and 'how it works'
So, I won't go on, about that
Yes, today I note that my connection IS SECURE
however to the right side of my address bar, I note
that I am still, blocking attempts, from 'this page'
to post unsafe scripts, and also cookies from this page
I do so wish I was able to identify 'which' they were
and/or their source and in doing so
assist attempts to deal, with those...
Trusteer simply closes the door and, prevents my interaction
with any contaminated page(s)
I installed 'Trusteer Rapport' years ago now
upon it's being recommended to me, by my Bank...
It protects the business of many banks and government agencies
and, it is for-free
You say, that you do not see "any difference, yet"
so, please let me ask:
What is it that you see ~to the far right of your 'address bar'
I mean 'Besides, the ADD bookmarks button' ?
(I am comparing our separate/ individual views)
On some pages within CF (including the Private Messaging System 'member to member(s) )
I am seeing one, two or even three warning flags [scripts, cookies etc]
Whenever, I see the the https struck out [with a red line](far left)
is when my pages freeze, and/or, my posts fail, to be submitted
I can then, only post IF, I allow those unsafe scripts and cookies
Cookies, come in several sizes, and some call-home
and establish unwanted-contact
and even invite further downloads (one wrong click..and ??)
Anyway, Staff tell me some things "have been fixed"
I DO see, my SECURE connection has been restored and,
my right side -address bar, warnings continue...
but, I can it-seems still post messages in-forums
Oh, and I have-to also add, that my text inputting, flows more freely ie: I do not have-to wait for the text ONSCREEN to catch-up, before continuing to-type
THAT too!! was some disagreeable hassle, to contend with
I have now added 'DO NOT TRACK' to my Chrome SETTINGS
~not that I have anything to hide, but, to help turn away cookies, that I do not wish to store
Your Bro'
