I really popped in for a coffee...

Living in Las Vegas, NV, we do not long for summer. We love the winter as long as we can get it! 120 degree weather comes to soon and too fast.

I can understand that. I've visited Las Vegas, in August, and felt like I was walking into an oven. I loved the air-conditioning though. How long does the hot weather last and what are the winter temps mmksparbud?

They last too long---By around October it is cool. Winters can go as low as in the 30's, freezing and very rarely some snow. Right now is the time when it can't make up it's mind whether were in spring or winter---it can be in the 50-60's and then it will be in the 70's, with occasional 80's and then back down. Sometimes you just don't know what to wear out. As we have showers sometimes also. It affects the fibro more during these up down times.

Has anyone here heard the group Hebron? They're a Messianic Jewish group, two thirds of whom my husband and I met at a conference in England last October - the two women to be precise. We heard the group in concert here in Northern Ireland last Tuesday evening. One of the ladies, Helen Shapiro was a well-known child star. All three work for Messianic Testimony.

I remember Helen Shapiro from my youth. That takes me back - to the sixties I think! I knew that she was a Messianic Christian but haven't heard much of her in recent years and I haven't heard of Hebron. What sort of music do they perform Gillian?

Found a tea on Amazon that is the most like coffee that I have ever had. It's from Teccino Teas. I can't handle caffeine. It is a little expensive, but what isn't anymore and I use it more as a once in a while treat.

What's the name of it?

If you look up Teeccino teas---they have different kinds---I have French roast. You do have to keep in mind I have not tasted real coffee in years and years! But this, to me tasted quite real.
