Hello everyone,

It's wet and windy here. I left hubby to the airport this morning and have just been pottering around the house since then. My son came home early from work because they had a brief power cut.

Today is polling day in Northern Ireland - we're voting in a new government here, because the old one was dissolved. Hubby and daughter will miss it, one son is going with neighbours and James and I will go this evening after a Life Explored course I hope to get to. It's being run in connection with the Festival of Hope outreach in our town.

It's wet and windy here.

Sounds about the same as here in the foothills of the Pennines. We have had brief glimpses of blue sky and sun, which was lovely.

I pray for a new government for Northern Ireland, directed by the Lord, to bring peace and stability, in the name of our Lord Jesus

I would have extended my membership over a year ago
if I hadn't tried so very-hard, to keep, the car and everything else going
on my single-income.... Eight months, I managed (at cost to other things)

But last August 30th, the MOT test revealed £250 worth of repairs needing-doing
followed by £97 car tax[six months]
and £107 per-month 'car insurance'
all was in-vain

Now, the cold weather has had me use more gas than would have liked

and I have-to catch-up some £140 outstanding-amount
while paying-for, present needs (gas usage)
I can tell that it is going to take me some-time to find 'par' with everything

Hello everyone. Haven't been here in quite a while. I have had to slow down a bit and now have a little more time on my hands due to a small stroke. I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather.

I am still having tests but it wasn't a tia apparently. I don't seem to tick all the boxes so they are treating it as a small stroke . I still have the headache, dizziness, balance problems and right sided weakness
