We hope to finish this weekend...Monday the lastest
They are very funny; we have lots of stories about encounters with them over the years.
Thankfully she has avoided sprays and quills....but just by a nose (literally)
Good to see you Shirley; enjoy dinner![]()
Ok...Monday is getting closer every day.
Hi Shirley; hope you rest well tonightDave you look wonderful....((((((hugs))))).
The main walls throughout the house (kitchen/dining/living room and hall) have a very faint greenish hue; it is barely perceptible.
We like to keep our walls off white or use faint hints of color, because we prefer to use Jim's paintings and my nature pics for a color focus.
The other rooms (bedrooms, pc, bath room etc) do have specific colors; we will be renewing those rooms next.
Between the dark stormy day, and shadows from our lights, we see spots hubby will have to touch up tomorrow on a couple of walls (not bad).
Putting the house back together, washing curtains etc will be my job; maybe tomorrow... or nest week....cuz I am beat and every bone hurts

We are happy with itOOOOh, Gail, I know that is a lot of work...we did not do our own...it still would not be finished, I am sure...but in the end, you should love the fresh paint...we keep a light color on the walls...although my office is sort of a foggy green...I love it still.
Thanks ~ I hear you; our house is a work in progress alsoOur house, remains _'a work in-progress'
The living-room awaits attention

The painting is done (for this project)
My house 'puttering' was side stepped when I noticed PORCUPINE QUILLS under my back deck where Penny's runner is
It seems 'Porky' decided to 'exfoliate' last night after we went to bed
So....I ended up hand picking all the quills ( a dixie cup full) which were .5 -1 in long (with barbs intact)
and then raking out the leaves from under the deck to discourage him (and the skunks) from resting in the leaf litter :o
Out came my 'critter repellant' that I sprinkled around the house foundation, under the porches,
and in select spots at the edge of the woods where they enter the yard.
We also place softener sheets in spots around the yard; the odor of 'humans' helps too.
There is never a dull moment at my house![]()
