Praying for you and your son.... and all in similar situations; healing ~ peace ~ reunion (God willing) :crossrc:

Good luck Ruth ~ I am sure you and Suzy will do well

Penny is in Heaven with the melting snow ...she scampers as far as her leash/runner will let her, to explore the newly exposed earth ^_^

Hi Shirley  Cute creation!

We enjoyed the lovely start of our 'warmer' weather with a walk, and then set about taking my living room apart,
so hubby can prep the water stain on the ceiling from the ice dam we had tomorrow.
The hardest part was removing all the wood we had stacked in a hoop by the stove, and taking furniture down to the cellar :swoon:

I am done for the day now :p

Have a nice night ~ God bless

I know what a job you have there Gail...we sort of moved in and moved out to redo floors and paint...we did jettison a lot of stuff completely.

We had a lovely walk at noon...almost too hot to go then, I must make an effort to get out earlier now. Gracie got taxi servie in her stroller about half the way...must be careful of her knee. She las learned to like riding, she can still see everything and be outdoors for a while...I get a super work out...lol.

Yeah we will re-do the house form one end to the other; the kitchen and living room will be the most work....besides the 4 season room (all pine) that should be polyurethaned.

People must approach you thinking there is a baby in the stroller ;)...or is she uncovered?

I am falling asleep at my PC
putertired.gif
my face will be in my supper plate tonight! :p

I bet you are tired....just go ahead and fall asleep.....

We did not pass any other walkers today...I did not pay attention to the cars....but the stroller does look like a baby stroller....I will get a new pic of it soon.

At that time, I had phoned her home a dozen or so times, to arrange visitation
without reply... Weeks later, I heard from the Children's Department re: having emigrated
~She had obtained another partner and, had asked for several months 'off'
so to let the children acclimatize and to cease, their bedwetting
My signature was needed on papers 'agreeing' to her taking the children abroad

I could not pursue them
and it was @ three years, before, I was able to 'recover, and move-on' with 'living'

Thank you 'sirender'...
Having been SAVED...
I felt 'the need' to devise something 'encouraging' and 'thought-provoking'
and I was inspired to write those things, from experience and, applied wisdom

dave

Dave this is a painful story to hear...I am hoping....praying, just as the Lord has rescued you....so will He rescue your children...even heal and save your ex and her boyfriend...or friends.:hug::hug::angel:

Wow, Gail, it sounds like you outdid yourself today. It's quiet here. Tim is going to Pennsylvania until Sunday evening with friends from church.

Glad Tom got some rain; hope he gets more. Next week is supposed to be quite rainy here. Saturday will my day to run around a bit.

Dave, how sad about your son.

There is a TIME for everything... 'a time for work and a time for rest'

Burning the candle from both ends, means it burns-out TWICE as quickly ;)

The 'plan' will need to include 'instalments'

'Sons' Marsha Sis'

My 'ex' took them both out of the country [Marcel and Robin]
She apparently married the guy before they emigrated

Robin, accepted the offer to return to England
and lives in another borough, here, in Manchester... [He has a family too!]
Which is, how I made aware of the terrible childhood they had experienced

My heart 'bled' via tears from my eyes, I didn't know how I could go on
and in wishing them only the very best, I had been forced, to let-go and keep walking

Brother Dave,

I'm very sad to hear about the circumstances with you and your son.
Both of you will be in my prayers.

Thank you Tom Brother

I have already recounted the loss [many years ago, here, in GE]
a bit before your time [perhaps]

Forum Post Archives don't appear to exist for those times
~perhaps they were LOST, in past site/database crashes

There is always the possibility that he, or his family
will sign-up to FACEBOOK

Oh I will take care; we aren't pushing......I just forgot myself. :D
The spring weather enticed us to go for a walk, and then we started to prep the house.
I would have been fine except all that.... combined with a poor nights sleep, did me in :p

A rest and then supper refreshed me; I am ok

I will be omitting my walks during this project; Penny and I will just enjoy sitting or strolling in the yard during my breaks

Thank you for your encouragement and concern

God bless your dear heart

And hearing your story just told here, Bro Dave, gives us yet another reason why, "Jesus wept"...

May God continue to bless you richly, my friend, in your present circumstances.

Thank You Lord, You care about all the hurts, all the damage sin has done to us....:bow::bow:

Thank You Lord, You care about all the hurts, all the damage sin has done to us....:bow::bow:

:amen:

Michael John .... 9th June 1966 - 17th October 1966 Sudden Death - natural causes [cot death ?]
[ex, was suffering post-natal depression] and Michael's passing
convinced me to leave the army to concentrate on my 'family'
Things, were never quite the same, ever again

One of the last things she told me, was;
"I only married you, so I could get-to and live in England"
~as if, "my 'wish-achieved' now, get lost "
expl': first ex, was a German National

Having married, at 19 years of age, I was maybe so 'not quite ready'
for the complications that then, washed over me [us]
With hindsight, I 'see' what selfishness can accomplish and inflict

For sure, innocence [naivete] can render one, extremely vulnerable

 Please do take care Shirley; you had quite the month with illness

I had a good rest and am ready to take on the world :p

It is looking, feeling, smelling, and sounding like here.
The last piles of snow in our yard should disappear by Monday

It will be a week or 2 before the lake opens up, and the snow in the woods behind our home melts away.

We have had deer coming to the salt licks in our yard
at dusk; they so beautiful to observe!
Now if the moose and bear would make an appearance, I would be thrilled!
We have yet to get a good pic of them because they come at dusk.... and move fast

Have a blessed day

Good morning to you dear people. I am on quite early for me. My television is hooked up in my bedroom so I often lounge and do my tv watching in the morning, but not today.

We all have had our sorrows and trials, it seems. God has gotten/is getting us through and we bear testimony to his faithfulness. By his grace, we endure and even have joy in our lives. What an awesome God.

Gail, I'm glad you got a good rest. Do remember to pace yourself.

Yes, I AM pacing myself today :D
Had breakfast....puttered....now having lunch; then will putter some more
My precious Penny will be sure I take breaks ~ to play, get the mail, take care of her 'business' ;)
We'll be sure to take a few minutes each time to enjoy this beautiful spring day

I did well pacing (and was at the end),when HUBBY ran into trouble and needed my help :swoon:
Looks like I'll have to work HIM into the equation from now on; work rarely goes smoothly for him ;) ^_^
I got 2 rooms emptied; WHEW :p I am DONE for the day!
