Hi everyone! Great graphics Dave! I know I haven't been on here much lately, sorry. Today I have been tackling the cleaning I have put off for too long. It's nice to have a nice smelling apartment!
Good to see you Ruth
It feels good to get major cleaning done in the Spring!

Yeah! - We got a nice rain last night and this morning - and there is more to come according to the weatherman. We are all giving thanks. The heaviest rain is supposed to happen tonight.
Yes, the rain is also here with us in northern Oklahoma. Thank you dear Lord for this natural rain and thank you for the spiritual outpouring available to whosoever will. Glory to God!
Praise God

That is such nice news...we don't have any rain in the long term forecast...we are very, very dry.
Praying for your needed rain as well

We had a nice, relaxing day here ~ it was brutally cold, so after lunch Hubby and I headed to the Home depot to get paint supplies for our (interior) house project (to begin next week)

Good night ~ God bless :crossrc:

Hello everyone. Hope you had a good Easter. Glad to hear rain appears to be coming in place of the snow. Angelwind, did hubby have something special to celebrate?

We got home yesterday after a few days away with our camper van at a Caravanners and Campers Christian Fellowship rally. At one stage we thought the rally might have to be cancelled because of the snow, but we went ahead and had a great time.

The weather in this neck of the woods is lovely today, but I don't know how it is in other parts where it was really bad. I heard yesterday we were due a heat wave next month - that'll be nice.

I need to get things out of the van today and get some washing done.

Blessings,

Gillian

Yep...there are signs Dave ;) and we are moving ahead :D
It is chilly here today...windy, and cold in the 30's, but a warm up is coming later this week

Once the garden snow melts we can ready that and start seedlings indoors.
We get a hard frost here through the first week of JUNE (and have seen snow in MAY).

So we will start projects inside the house now... to free ourselves for yard work after the black fly season

Our daughter is 38 today; where did all those years go

Hi Gail Sis'

Yes, everything, to it's season..... and not one 'moment' before ;)

Snap with the weather conditions... we too have sunshine, cold and breezes in 30's.F [*winds]

Good morning Dave and everyone!
I am training my dog now. This isn't real easy.lol

Good afternoon Ruth Sis'

Dog training, is as simple as directing and encouraging 'good habits'
If you are relentless, in your endeavours
[alt. consistent and ungivingly-so] you will, get things just as you want them

If you want the furniture to yourself ... KEEP animals on the floor ;)
If you want the floors kept-clean.... you must, deliver, the 'outdoors' regularly
and show 'firm disapproval' of your pets toiletting indoors [anger-free]

The small 'treat' [reward]
for good behaviour, helps them strive for the next treat ;) ;)

Everyone sounds good...it is spring no matter what our weather says...at least for the northern hemisphere.

I was out today, to Trader Joe's, bought way more than planned as I was hungry and stuff looked yummy. Got some varieties of rice pasta, and pasta made with corn, interesting for us who eat very little wheat.

think I need a nap now....(((((hugs))))).

It rained all day yesterday, and there's a 50% chance of more rain today. YEAH! We've been in drought so long that our water supply for the city is in danger of being gone in less than two years. So, this is a matter of serious prayer and thanks when we get any moisture at all. Thank you Lord.

At that time, I had phoned her home a dozen or so times, to arrange visitation
without reply... Weeks later, I heard from the Children's Department re: having emigrated
~She had obtained another partner and, had asked for several months 'off'
so to let the children acclimatize and to cease, their bedwetting
My signature was needed on papers 'agreeing' to her taking the children abroad

I could not pursue them
and it was @ three years, before, I was able to 'recover, and move-on' with 'living'

^ like your signature

Thank you 'sirender'...
Having been SAVED...
I felt 'the need' to devise something 'encouraging' and 'thought-provoking'
and I was inspired to write those things, from experience and, applied wisdom

You have my admiration...I am lazy about that...I do pay close attention to what she eats and her grooming tho.
I found a freeze dried version of raw food...she loves it and gets a bit mixed with her regular kibble, which is Origen; if we had a big dog I could not afford this food.

Boy, this is very hard to remember, sometimes children want to find their biological parents tho...if the ex has not lied to them. ((((((hugs))))).

Hi Shirley

@ 20 years ago, I received a letter from New Zealands Child and Adoptions Service

It mentioned that Marcel had spent some years 'in care' [family difficulties]
and that as he was due to be 'released'
He was being offered the opportunity to return to England

I mishandled the reply-situation,
for, having heard he had been in care, I did wonder...
WHAT I would be adding to our six children [Bristol]
and Marcel decided to remain in New Zealand

I am afraid my reference to 'strict discipline'
actually frightened the young man off
It wasn't until I had met up with his younger brother 'Robin'
that I understood the hell
that they had experienced at the hands of their mother and step-father

Yes, I tried to remake a line of contact with him, to no avail
I even had a member here, [living, in Dunedin NZ]
offer to make enquiries on my behalf, without result
Once released from the care of his local-authority, he became untraceable
to them also
so they were unable to help me either

I have 'peace' in my heart
there was nothing I could do to remedy the damage my ex initiated
God knows!

Praying for you and your son.... and all in similar situations; healing ~ peace ~ reunion (God willing) :crossrc:

Good luck Ruth ~ I am sure you and Suzy will do well

Penny is in Heaven with the melting snow ...she scampers as far as her leash/runner will let her, to explore the newly exposed earth ^_^

Hi Shirley  Cute creation!

We enjoyed the lovely start of our 'warmer' weather with a walk, and then set about taking my living room apart,
so hubby can prep the water stain on the ceiling from the ice dam we had tomorrow.
The hardest part was removing all the wood we had stacked in a hoop by the stove, and taking furniture down to the cellar :swoon:

I am done for the day now :p

Have a nice night ~ God bless
