Amen! We should leagally limit campaigning time to 3 months...period.
I got in an early walk too...am no where close to being on the new time...it usually takes me a week to adjust...Fall and Spring.

It is almost hot here in mid afternoon...but they say..."THEY"...say...it will get a lot cooler as the week goes on.
I am sleeping great for the first time in a long while ~ up early and sleepy earlier; amazing :o

We have a Nor'easter coming Wednesday with SNOW....then it will be @ 63 over the weekend

That's new England for ya ^_^

In Ohio, there's a saying that if you don't like the weather, wait a day and it'll change. I've found that to be very true. How much snow are they predicting? We may get flurries, that's all. But, also up to 60s this weekend.

They say that here in New England too ^_^

The track isn't etched in stone yet (it could be more or less), though several inches have been mentioned.

Originally 60's were forecast for the weekend here too, and tonight they cut temps back to the 50's.

We'll see ;)

I see Americans coming together to help each other out in the flooded areas...thank You Lord!...the new storm could bring a lot of water again....

This is election Day...I will keep the tv turned off till hubby gets home...I am sick of hearing about politics.

We are clear skies, sort of warm and dry...So Cal weather most of the time is like this.

Good morning

LOL @ your pic Shirley (I feel that one often) ^_^

We will head to the polls after lunch; hopefully it won't be too busy at that time..... hubby needs to have his truck inspected on the way home too.

It is COLD here....with snow/mix tomorrow for us late in the day.
Possible flooding along the coast again ~ Lord have mercy on them!

I will be in and out; we need to get our walk in today too for Ms Penny ;)

Have a great day :)

You must have the proper shoes to be walking in your weather? Most likely I am ill equiped for snow. I do have some heavy boots left over from horse keeping days, but I live in open shoes year round...just add socks in the winter.

I have done some light chores...then reading...do not feel too good, but I have been worse...LOL.

We have hiking boots that have good traction and ice cleats if needed.
When winter really gets going and the roads are messy with ice, sand, and salt, we use the treadmill and snowshoe, and just play with Penny inside more, so she gets enough exercise.

Sorry you don't feel well ....this week I have had my 'off' days too as I finish adjusting to my diet changes.
The up side is that Hubby and I have both lost 5+ pounds each the past couple of weeks

Well, It is time to hit the polls :p

Be back later

Hey, I feel better since I posted last...I took an allergy pill...it is so dry out here, every one has a runny nose.

How do you potty Penny in the bad weather? Gracie will use papers very well for me.

Just got back from voting and had a brisk walk (it is COLD)!

Glad you feel better ~

Penny braves the elements....she especially LOVES the snow :D
We tried an indoor training system when she was a pup....she played with it ^_^ she preferred to be outside ;)

We are ready for the storm; our shovels and winter gear are out (her pink hoodie too);)
I almost hope it doesn't turn to rain....they said it could warm to near 60 over the weekend!
Hopefully we have a decent snowfall this year!

Between the coyotes, foxes, fisher cats, hawks, and owls.....we must stay with Penny too!
Daytime she is on a short runner, with us close by keeping watch; after dark she is on a leash.

You also have bobcats....
After I posted, I spotted an article in our local paper about a cat being attacked by one at the other end of town just this week
All the more reason to for both of us to keep them on a short leash!

Our back yard is a long rectangle with a high embankment along the back edge of the woods.
The runner is across the middle (from the house to a tree) and not along the length of the yard so we have control.

Hey, we could do something very similar...can you post a pic of the runner?

We do have big cats around here...and coyotes that kill the chickens.
