Whatever you think Brother Dave. I think that I might have made 1 or 2 posts. I think of Daily Cheer as positive, uplifting, encouraging, funny, and nice. I have definitely missed your posts there, so I would vote please do.

Before I forget it, I have my stitches out and I'm feeling a freedom like I haven't had in a long time. I have a page full of exercises to start tonight and a little ball that I'm supposed to squeeze numerous times every day. I've given myself a little break before reading everything I'm to do. I will never again take for granted how useful hands are to have. They told me I would have to do as I was told for a 100% recovery, and you can be guaranteed that I want that 100% recovery. I just wish that I had done this years ago. I just might have to dance:

I hate wasting food, too. It's taken a while to learn all over again how to shop for just myself. Even a small amount goes a long way.

I eat some things hubby won't eat so I sort of cook at times for 2 "single" folks.

Hubby is off with his brothers to remove her personal effects from the nursing home
After lunch they are meeting with the funeral director to finalize the arrangements.

I will be home puttering with chores that need doing (if I have the energy).

This weekend knocked the stuffing out of me.... between the emotions, running around, and not sleeping well.
Yesterday we spent the day sorting through pics for the video the funeral home plays during the calling hour.

It feels good to be able to pop in here for a few minutes

Gail, I am reading about your loss, I am so sorry, you and the family will be in my prayers.

Hello to everyone else that I may have forgotten.

It is cooler today, around 78 and a nice breeze is blowing. The fire is 57% contained and no more homes or loss of life has happened, it is now mainly in the upper ranges.

I had a busy day cleaning....hubby was gone 8 hours making arrangements and collecting her belongings
But everything is done and ready for Friday and except for getting some food in the next day or so, we can relax until then!
I want to nap every time I sit though I am beat

Lots to do between today and Friday (odd preps), but we will be relaxing for the most part before then.

I did morethan planned today....Gracie and I walked about noon time...we have a monsoon cloud cover...it is still warm but not horrid outside...
Got our meds at the drug store and brought home a rice bowl from the quickie Chinese place...also go a new little table for storage...does anyone know of a product I could use to spray or paint some reed baskets...I want to seal them.

I have never done that; I think what you use depends on what the baskets will also be used for (foods or decoration).
