I have never done that; I think what you use depends on what the baskets will also be used for (foods or decoration).

The baskets are the drawers in this new little stand I bought...I will put my beading junk in there I think...When I move these drawers in and out, stuff sort of smudges off of them. They are made of cheap straw-like material...maybe I can get some pictures of them. They are sturdy enough for my purpose.

I have had a good day...

Do miss my hubby, but I am doing fine. We have very wet weather in the desert to the east...just cloud cover here and higher humidity. I am about to get away from the pc for a while....

Can you line them with a material (hot glue it in place)?
My sister did that with some baskets.

Yup ...I got it all done(probably should have paced myself better ), but now I can REST all day tomorrow

Just stopping by to say "hello"

It is a lot cooler today, around 68, so, I was able to mow the lawn, it looks so nice, I have the sprinkler on now. It is really windy, but, that is normal for here when it is cooler.

The fires are 90% contained now, praise the Lord, should be 100% by Friday.

Lining with material just might work, I will experiment with that.

Nothing has been done yet Dave....I will explore the varnish idea too...I can really smell the vapours from the straw today....do not like that at all.,,,but I do like this little stand, it fits well in my "slot" for it.

Good morning. I changed my font color BEFORE I read that orange and red can trigger seizures in some people. I wanted a color different from everyone else. I'll keep trying.

Hi Dear GE's~sorry for not getting back to your sooner. Yesterday, I was busy moving in to my temporary apartment in Yakima, it is really cute, I have some more things to move, then, I will go home and pack EVERYTHNIG to put into storage. I am also looking into a darling, two bedroom condo, it would be perfect for my needs, in a very quiet neighborhood, and the seller is a Christian, I looked at it again today, it is wonderful, so, now, I have to see how I will finance it, etc. Please keep me in your prayers regarding it. If I get it, I will post pictures of it. Oh, it is only 2 miles from my school as well.

I was pretty stiff after the lawn mowing, but better today. Iwill be so glad to move, then, no more yard work, this place I want to buy has a cute patio, and the condo association pays to have the lawn mowed. I feel like the Lord led me there, but, we shall see, I like my little studio where I am now too, so, Iam OK with anything that He sends my way.

It is cooler today and breezy, I think we may be over all the extreme heat, at least I hope so.

I had a much busier day than expected...but things are slowing down now...my dear friend Lori had today off she brought me lunch and it felt very good to have her here in the house with me...I expect another visitor later....wow, the Lord has procived so many supports for me...makes me cry a bit.

Sounds like you had a good day...our weather is cooler too...not what I prefer but better than boiling hot.

I'm not sensative like that, but some colors like yellow make my eyes burn if I try to read them. I just figure I shouldn't impose bright red on everyone who reads my posts. I just like color

Boy, when I neede help...the support was right there....it has to be the Lord!

I like red too....more and more as I get older.

It is Saturday here...I went for a walk early....it was daylight and I locked my house...have learned the crime rate in my town has greatly increased...:duh:

My hubby will be home late tonight, I will be very glad to see him to say the least.

I am thinking of Gail...the service for her MIL was yesterday.

That is so sweet of you Shirley, and greatly appreciated!

Her funeral was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time at the meal after, with all his cousins and the few aunts and Uncles who are left.

It is a sobering feeling that we are the next generation to go!
While we face it with faith and embrace each day we are blessed with joyfully, the kids are concerned and overwhelmed about it all, so we are trying to assure and prepare them for what they would have to do.

But God willing, we will still have 25-30 good years left!
Then again, one or both of us could be gone tomorrow; the mystery of life!

We plan to just relax this weekend ~ Church tonight with dinner out after; tomorrow maybe get a walk in and BBQ a light supper.
