The first step in developing a theory is forming a testable hypothesis. That means a scientist observes nature for a while, thinks, and come up with an idea that explains what we see. The most important part of his hypothesis is that it must be testable. That means that there is a reasonable test that could show it to be wrong, if it is wrong.

After observing this world for some 30 odd years, and doing some thinking about it, I have come up with the idea that this planet exists because there are human beings populating it. As long as I've been here, and as far as I can see, humans have been here...and there is life. I look out into the vast reaches of space...I see no humans...I see no life. I think that there is a way to test this hypothesis.

So, @Subduction Zone, will you help me to form a testable hypothesis? Or are you scared?

I am attempting to, which is why I asked @Subduction Zone...I am not even close to being a "scientist"...I was offered help from a real scientist to put a hypothesis together. Being that he/she is an objective, non biased, professional, I see no reason that they would not follow through with that offer.

* I recently heard that "pseudoscience" actually aids "science". So, this endeavor should be fruitful.
