Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

I liked the way it worked... disappearing from the list once read, that was neat!
Please PM me the amount you had donated and I'll fix this for you. It was a bug, but it's now fixed.Shachah said:This new User Interface is awesome. I really like it and it has been a worthwhile effort IMHO!
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am still having one problem....maybe others have discussed this, I just popped in for the first time.
I am a Site Supporter and understood that I have a certain PM message availability as a Site Supporter. I don't see the Site Supporter showing any more....and I don't have NEAR the limit of PMs in my cache as described to be the limit. Yet my screen says:
YOUR PM BOX IS FULL!
constantly. Is this still in the works?
If this has already been answered I apologize, but don't have time to read through all discussions, so please bear with me to represent the question.
Anybody know about this? Erwin?
Thanks, Sha
That was a new feature, but when you turn that on, you won't go to your latest posts anymore. Most members are used to our old cookie-based method. Cookie based means going to latest posts, and seeing all latest posts, works. Changing to database is more accurate, for each thread, but you won't go to the latest post. Both have pros and cons.MQTA said:So the method that made them disappear off my 'new subscribed posts' list after reading them was the cookie-based? I liked it better than this method. As I read each thread, the list gets shorter. Saves a lot of 'AllRead' clicks, too.
Can't be a user-choice, can it? i.e. whatever way, works for everyone, the same?
If the other way is reliable, I vote for it. I thought it was a new feature and loved it!

I'm not sure what you mean - changing usernames has never been "free". We discourage members to change their usernames as it gets very confusing for other members when someone changes their username frequently.jsisrl said:
A real concern:
Erwin,
Recently I was wanting to change my Username Title to only find out that now we have to CF style pay for it.
It use to NOT cost us.
Why now?
I give my money - as blessings to others here so I just wish certain features that use to not cost us would still be free that way we could use more of our blessings, that we have purchased through donations, to bless others here instead of giving them away for work this site. I believe our donations give great funds for this site, I just don't think that we need to be pay for flexing our muscles here in working the site.
Submitted and I'll keep my donations (to keep being able to bless others here) up but still I sigh* regarding this topic.

She's talking about Custom titles, not Usernames.Erwin said:I'm not sure what you mean - changing usernames has never been "free". We discourage members to change their usernames as it gets very confusing for other members when someone changes their username frequently.
