Just get the list up on the screen and then do a File -> Save in your browser

Ok now that it is the next day after the first announcement, can anyone tell us about the pets??
We are busy saving the list(tons) to Word, and will on the last night go around and feed everyones pets full. Should we be even doing this??? Is cf starting over with new pets??? (yes saw the site)Should we be even trying to save the list, cause will people be re-making new pets?? Can anyone give us a clue, please!!

Bring up your bank screen on the pc....press the print screen button on the keyboard(nothing will appear to happen)...open publisher or similar program....right click and paste....the picture of the pc screen should come up...then save.

If I go to "File", then"Save Page as" and save as a web page onto my desktop, will it be there even though that particular page will be gone I guess after the upgrade? Can I do it this way?

Yes your subscriptions will transfer , and you can keep your siggy.... though I'm not sure whether it will transfer automatically... I would save it in case

Why are they doing this? Seems like too much of a hassle and itd be easier not to because i doubt everybody reads this thread so probably MOST people here will lose their stuff

I'm going to have to try all this "save", "Save as" and "print" stuff at the home 'puter. Hopefully someone will be around in about 10 hours to help me out.

As a mac user I've learned to respect my betters~even if they are PC guys; if I knew 1/10th of what PGP knew about this stuff my life would be a little easier--don't be a mac snob, it has a funny way of comin' right back atcha

simply put...the current site is not stable. CF is basically one giant vbulletin hack at the moment and the code is interacting in bizarre ways. There are other reasons, of course, but this is a major one.

I believe that 1) backups of data exist and 2) the new site is running in a development environment already so the techs are chewing through some of the issues.
