Maybe the story wasn't all that exciting but the digital characters and effects were on a level that's really hard to beat. I think some movies are fun to watch just because they're well made visually.

Okei, this is what I have already. If I have missed your name I apologize, you can rep me and I will edit the list. I know I forget a few but I added a LOT of people and took out a bunch who just don't post or post in singles.

Ethnog I really really appreciate you doing this for me.

I haven't really looked at the award categories yet, and someone else may have brought this up, but can we please not do best prayer warrior and other categories judging other's spiritual depth? I'm *really* uncomfortable with that.

I agree and am fine with taking that category out.

Suggestions of categories to take out:
-Most Adventurous
-Best Prayer Warrior
-Biggest Flirt
-Most Creative
-Best Smile
-Best Video
-Best Couple
-Unlikely Couple
-Most Artistic

category ideas:

-Gym Rat (with all this working out we have been doing. LOL).
-Most likely to get married in the next 2 years.

Awards that are from famous (or famous movie) lines. If this makes sense, it does in my head for some reason.
"Go ahead and make my day"
"I'll be back"
"you can't handle the truth"

I would take out the following categories:
3. Best Story Teller
4. Best Prayer Warrior
9. Most Giving
17. Most Creative (same as most talented)
19. Most Humble
20. Best Eyes
31. Most Artistic (again, same as creative or talented)
39. Best Profile Picture
40. CF King & Queen

And replace them with....

Most likely to remain single another year
Most likely to get married
Best Choice To Be A Moderator
Worst Choice To Be A Moderator
Should Post More Frequently
Most likely to use scripture
Best Sock Account P)

And I would also suggest that we don't do a girl and guy for every category. It was like sitting through Avatar... endless and eventually you just give up.

I'm SO fine with not having every category guy/girl. Believe me it was stressful. lol

Mid to late Oct. Maybe Oct 20th or 27th. I like to have them on Saturdays around 10pm eastern, seems the most people are on and I get a lot of the time zones included so its good for a majority.

Again, as I said last time, since this is the "Singles" Awards, that if people (who are trustworthy) have a genuine interest in helping, that they should be included in helping.

I'd be interested in seeing someone who is more of a regular poster, someone who posts numerous posts daily on Singles, be involved in this process. And not just the award making process.

Since this whole thing is so vote driven, perhaps you should create a poll on whether or not people are interested in having others involved in the process, or if they are happy with you handling everything? I think that would be beneficial. Let the majority decide, as they have decided on everything else, thus far.

Thank you for your concern, Keri. But the Singles are involved in most aspects of the Singles Awards. Tallying the votes is my job and always will be. I'm very appreciative of the help I get and I think the Singles are aware of that.

And if people want to help, they should be allowed.

You've complained about how hard it is, how much time, how much whatever it takes to do this, yet when people outside of your circle offer to help take this huge load off of you, you decline and become possessive.

Please, tell me... why would it be such a huge deal if Ethie helped tally votes? How would it burden you in any way?

They are allowed to help, and I've asked them to help in different areas. Ethnog doesnt seem to mind helping with picking out pics for the awards instead of tallying votes.

If it sounded as if I've complained, I'm sorry for the confusion. It is hard but I enjoy doing it for everyone and love the outcome on ceremony night!

I'm not sure where you get that I become possessive. I politely decline help in some areas.
