I used to be absolutely awful. Last time I had a crush, I did better about approaching them/starting convos, even got brave enough to invite them places to hangout.

And yeah, I mean, I've made first moves before - but I'm kind of old-fashioned and it's out of my element and don't really want to do that. If a guy is interested, he'll make it known And, it definitely takes two to show interest. I've studied a lot about this topic and have a lot of useless information in my head about relationships and friendships and all those things. Haha.

Making the first move is hard, especially when you're an over thinker, and even the smallest comment or action carries dozens of "What if they take it the wrong way" scenarios.

The hard part is when you're doing everything you can to make it known, but they miss all your signals and vice-versa

Last time, when I did actually ask a girl out, she kinda cornered me into it-- then after-- she asked what took me so long and why I didn't ask her out months and months before. I told her I couldn't tell if she liked me like that, and every time I thought she was maybe sending a signal, she would follow it up with something that could mean the opposite.
