I never denied that people also lived in huts made from wood and sticks, but if you are going to talk about how sophisticated ancient technology was, please give some examples?
Ancient robots in Greece (tripods of Hephaistos, automatic puppets and automatic wagons of Aristotle, vending machines of Hero of Alexandria).
Ancient computers in Greece (Antikythera Mechanism).
Ancient helicopters in Egypt (temple of Seti I at Abydos).
As I said earlier, we have their remains and we have left overs from their tools.
And we also have the remains of their computers.
Ancient Homo sapiens were as intelligent they just didn't have our technology.
Why would they even want our technology? Our technology sucks compared to theirs.
They had voice and mind activated weapons and interplanetary and interstellar spaceflight (Mahabharata).
They had tools made from stone, wood and bone.
Modern humans do too.
Often they have particular skills and techniqes we no longer need or posess, but in overall understanding of the universe we are ahead.
Absurd.
The ancients had a far more advanced understanding of the universe than we do.
"He [Democritus] said that the ordered worlds are boundless and differ in size, and that in some there is neither sun nor moon, but that in others, both are greater than with us, and yet with others more in number. And that the intervals between the ordered worlds are unequal, here more and there less, and that some increase, others flourish and others decay, and here they come into being and there they are eclipsed. But that they are destroyed by colliding with one another. And that some ordered worlds are bare of animals and plants and all water." -- Hippolytus, priest, 2nd century
Please feel free to demonstrate actual evidence of advanced technology from an acient culture.
"The programmable self-propelled machine might even go back as far as the 8th century B.C. ... It looks like the search for the earliest programmable robot is far from over." -- Noel Sharkey, computer scientist, July 2007
