It has nothing to do with a "logic class". It simply means your inclusion of religion does not seem related to your points.

Again, not relevant to the discussion at hand. You made statements of about harm, not about what religion the practice belongs to. Are you only against harm being caused in specific cases?
I've said in previous posts that any kind of abuse in wrong. Just because one does that, doesn't make it right for another group to do it.

And 'transgender' surgery is completely against Catholic doctrine.
Which is only relevant to Catholics. And it doesn’t mean they deny the surgery exists, that transgender people exist, or that the dynamic should be treated as if it doesn’t exist.

What are people who have surgery (and are now sterile) supposed to do if they want to switch back?

Obviously they will have an altered body and have to live with that.

Some trans people just come out as trans because they are aware of a mismatch between their gender identity and their assigned sex.
Identity confusion? Yes, but it's not a gender mismatch. This college apparently has lost its Catholic identity as have many other so-called Catholic colleges in the USA. So, has mine. As an alumnus, I had no choice but to stop making any further contributions.

The same thing people like me do… Weigh out if you accept the repercussions and then make an informed decision between yourself and your doctor.

So? We don’t have to accept it.

So you are transgendered then? Biologically male?

Glad you took a logic class. Anyway, circumcision is a Jewish practice. It's not a requirement for the Christian faith. And 'transgender' surgery is completely against Catholic doctrine.
Baby boys in the west weren’t routinely circumcised until relatively recently.

I was circumcised in 1942 when it was considered a standard practice for Protestants. For years you could tell Protestant boys from Catholic boys in the locker room that way.

Then the religion it belongs to is irrelevant. If it is wrong then we should treat circumcision as the same sort of issue trans surgery for minors is, yes?

Well, I'm glad you've settled that between you.

It has always seemed to me that the people who are least considered in the culture war against trans people are - trans people. It is as if their happiness was secondary to the ideological stance of people of a certain religious bent.

If a particular religious group has an objection to transition then ban it - for members. No religion has rights over non-members. I think that is a pretty well enshrined principle in America.

Circumcision doesn't make someone sterile and it doesn't lead to confusion of sexuality.
