I did not say dogmatically, however there are people on this thread equating killing animals with killing of humans and they are 2 totally different subjects. As I said the killing of a human is a sin, a grave one at that. The killing of an animal is only a sin when done out of malice. There is NOTHING about the killing of an animal that goes against the natural order of this world, as Aria suggested. I tell you what, when you get animals in nature to stop killing each other, then I might be willing to consider going vegetarian and then I might be willing to consider not killing bees or flies that come into my house. I really get the idea that those who are all for animal rights gravely dislike human beings because we have been set apart by God as being special, in his image and likeness. Maybe they should get to work in creating a species that will kill us and make us just like any other animal, and then they won't feel so guilty about being human.
Myself, I don't kill any insects which make their way into my house.
I was taught that spiders are good, flys can be got rid of.
For this reason, there is at least one spider in each room (to keep the flies away

).
In my univeristy room I had a spider which was the same colour as the walls (so visitors didn't notice it) and I named it Sergius.

Don't quite know why, but the name suited it.
I quite happily eat meat.
Ideally, it would be nice to see animals executed in an efficient and painless fashion.
Animals do not have human rights for the reason that they are not human....if they had, I think we should tax them

.
From a young age I always thought that animals are here for 3 reasons.
i. to provide for us (whether it be food or labour)
ii. to clothe us, (leather, furs or for other uses of their hides...I do not agree with the needless fashionable wearing of such furs as mink.)
iii. to give us pleasure through their existance.
