It doesn't matter if it's the correct model. The image may be used as a hypothetical.

Sure it matters if the model is a lie and is not representative of Gods creation.

The model described in the Bible being the Earth (including seas) the area below the earth and seas, the space above the earth known as the raqia (1st heaven) containing the sun, moon and stars, the water above the raqia, the area (could be the second heaven) above the waters that are above the raqia, And the third heaven the place where Paul was taken to, And then possible an area above there, that may be the abode of God.

Any way Paul states God is not far away.

Ezekiel knew where to look to find God.

And above the raqia (expanse) over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

here is an image of the shape of space and time. where would you insert God? to me it looks like he is already there.

addition: if this is too abstract of a question then instead can you see the creation event of God? does it fit a biblical model?
"Does the universe resemble any of the physical models we make of it? I'd like to hope that the effort society pours into scientific research is getting us closer to fundamental truths, and not just a way to make useful tools," said Caltech astronomer Richard Massey. "But I'm equally terrified of finding out that everything I know is wrong, and secretly hope that I don't."

When I first saw I thought: ok, it's very obvious but, it's still beautiful, and still a good question. Then I read through the first page of posts. That was kinda disappointing for a time (though I enjoyed a couple of the responses also in other ways). I was made to realize how...easy it is for me to just assume without thinking or realizing better that people have generally, most people, now learned about the vast stretches of space, and the astounding numbers of stars, and that they would the just appreciate the graphic. (now I see that was a wrong assumption) And while for me this is a long familiar graphic, I assumed (wrongly!) that people would understand it by the time they began to write a response. So, I learned a bit here that may help me in the future, if I post more on the amazing Universe around us. Ok.

So, I love it.

Of course, one way we can 'see' God in that graphic is the moment of creation -- the sudden beginning of the Universe!

It's so beautiful.

And, well, I do like some of the responses about other ways we also 'see' God. They are beautiful too.

:)

We can't possibly establish a model including the effect of of dark energy and dark matters as we don't know what they are yet.

My theory is that our universe is not a simple time-space. It is made of multiple time-space interlaced with each other, which gives the effect how we "perceive" as dark energy and dark matters.

Our brain on the other hand, is more like a quantum computer which cannot be achieved inside a singular time-space environment. Our "soul/spirit" resides in an adjacent space which contributes in a way unknown yet to the functionality of our brain.
Interestingly similar to my own guessing about what is consciousness. It's the same ideas but in different wording. Maybe we are onto something. :)

it is an image of the shape of space and time. this is depicted as a cone/bell shape but clearly it has boundaries and there is an outside to the cone (which is not the cone), there is also a beginning to the cone and the outside remains undefined. This perhaps is the most honest way to depict God since he would have to exist outside of space/time it makes him inobservable. We would only be able to observe his interactions inside the cone but these interactions would be limited and not fully represent God.

If we are given a blank sheet of paper and asked to draw God perhaps the best way to do it is to draw nothing at all. An atheist would interpret this as the absence of God but a theist would say is the absence of something that can be measured. Two completely different things.
If you gave a piece of paper to a toddler and ask them to draw their best friend so the police can finding the missing child, the result would not be such that anyone could know what the child looks like even though the toddler knows the friend well. Some things are beyond our skill.

I had an experience stayed out of body (it's half in and out) for awhile. I can thus speculate this by myself. To me there's another dimension of space out there that I had a strong perception about it when my soul started to detach. Back then I even thought about how possible it is to let scientists know of this space (back then I wasn't a Christian and knew almost nothing about the Bible). I retained by eye-sight, my senses of touching and hearing, and a special kind of predictive sense (on what would happen to myself on the reality side). I can't say about tasting and smelling though.

After being a Christian, then I realized that this space is actually Hades.
