If you are talking about someone killing an unborn human being, I will just treat the mother with kindness so she knows I care about her pain.

The reality is no woman likes being put in a position where she needs to think about making that choice. She may be having problems in her life that require thousands of dollars and urgent attention. Maybe she felt ready to raise a child, only to have everything crashing down on her after learning about her pregnancy. You don't know her finances or living situation. You don't know if she is going to school. You don't know if she was raped. You don't know anything about her. So it is your responsibility to treat her with kindness because you don't know if she is one of the very few women who just had an abortion for convenience and is proud of it - if anyone actually does that.

Well the state is one arm someone can appeal to but I would prefer we as Christians simply return to a standard of shame for ourselves. If we aren't even willing to shame women who deliberately get abortions and are proud of it, then we will gradually accept them and embrace them. That's how change in society starts, it begins with tolerance and moves to full on affirmation.

What about the physical distress that abortions put on the baby? There are over 600,000 abortions per year in the US and less than 1% of them result from rape victims and medical complications. So your idea kills 99 innocent babies so that 1 innocent person isn’t put in danger or inconvenienced.

Joe Biden explained the difference during his 2020 primary election campaign. He prefers no women get abortions, but as a career politician and presidential candidate, he values what the Constitution says about giving all girls and women the rights to privacy and bodily autonomy.

That is where I am at. If a woman does not need an abortion, I don't want her to get one. But like the current president, I am a patriotic American citizen who believes the government must stay out of every pregnant person's body. What happened to all the federal privacy laws?



I am just trying to discuss abortion in a friendly way. It is fine if some people think abortion is right and other people think it is wrong. What we need is a conversation that does not turn into all people making up those absolutist lies, which are told by both sides at political debates.

The life of a human should not rest in the balance of popular opinion. Just because these people want to conveniently deny that an unborn baby is not a human doesn’t make it a fact. If any doctor were asked what is this growing inside this woman he would say it’s an unborn baby and if he was asked what kind of baby he would say it’s a human baby. It’s not a giraffe baby, it’s not a walrus, baby it’s not a hippopotamus baby, it’s a human baby and it is alive. It’s the exact opposite of dead. These people just want to play word games and try to justify their sinful preferences so that they’re not inconvenienced by God’s commandments. There’s a penalty for that and it’s the most severe penalty anyone will ever pay if they don’t repent before it’s too late!! The word Christian means A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST.
