I am so excited for this summer. We're going to buy an old Eurovan with the poptop to go camping! We're hoping to do part of the Lewis and Clark trail. I hear there's a place you can camp where you can stay in a teepee (ND or Montana).
Right on Matthan.Camping in a trailer or motor home is not really camping at all. Try a backpack, with tent, and you are there....
I don't know about that..I like the idea of having a trailer. I persoanlly like my bathroom!!!! It's really not very fun to be a female and have to "go" in the woods. My hubby likes to rough it on the Mountains..but when he gets his bug to do that..I say..."go have fun"!Matthan said:Camping in a trailer or motor home is not really camping at all. Matthan said:The real fun of camping is doing it like the original explorers did it, within reason. A tent or lean-to is far preferable to an aluminim teepee in that regard, just as cooking over wood coals is much better than a propane camp stove. Just the smell of wood smoke is enough to get the blood flowing an the mind going....
