I LOVE YHWH'S WORD and YESHUA'S SHEEP !Meh, what is your problem?
God loves israel dont you read romans 10 which funnily enough follows on from romans 9.
short question:
are the calvinists that are members also baptists ?
So then, (if it's possible to state, or even to know)In the most technical sense, one cannot be a Calvinist and a Baptist. Calvin was adamantly opposed to Baptist theology. But, it seems that most of the people commenting on this thread are Baptists that have a Calvinistic understanding of soteriology (i.e., the so-called and much-hated "TULIP"), myself included.
So then, (if it's possible to state, or even to know)
which if any mix or which one if any if no mix
of the calvin / baptist/ tulip 'schools'
claims or believes they can follow
Jesus moment by moment every day TODAY ?
Arminianism and Calvinism: two religions reaching up to God instead of God's love reaching down to them.
Actually Calvinisitic beliefs start with God and work down to man and puts man in the dust at the feet of Christ begging mercy that he doesn't deserve.Arminianism and Calvinism: two religions reaching up to God instead of God's love reaching down to them.
Election isn't salvation, as we are so often accused of believing, but unto salvation.
God, in sovereign election, set His heart of love on us in, by and through the Son. Election is in Christ. Love is in Christ. Justification is in Christ. Adoption is in Christ. Sanctification is in Christ. All the blessings of God are in Christ and Him alone. Apart from Christ we are damned and deserve it.
Just as God predestined/chose anyone who genuinely believes in Him (Christ Jesus) to be of His elect Bride of Christ.

Amen, my point being that I'm the one doing the deciding if I want to be of the Bride of Christ (the Church/His Body).Election is decided irrespective of works (Rom. 9:11).
In response to that, i have 3 meme's:

Yes, He chose me like everyone else that nun should parish. But it's up to me to except.
In all fairness, classical Arminianism would probably be mistaken for Calvinism in many circles today. Sadly, what many people call Arminianism today is for all practical purposes open theism. As far as I am aware, the glaring difference between the theology of classical Arminianism (i.e., Arminius himself and, for example, the Wesleys) and Reformed theology is the notion of prevenient grace, which of course "fixes" our total depravity just enough to where we have the ability to choose or reject Christ. It has no biblical warrant whatsoever, but it appears to me that that is the primary difference.
Not sure I agree with you, but I think I do.
