When we read the scripture about predestination It is of the foreknowldege of God. Not the foreknowledge of our choices.
God foreknew who he would predestine..

When we read the scripture about predestination It is of the foreknowldege of God. Not the foreknowledge of our choices.God foreknew who he would predestine..
If God knows that an event is going to happen, then it is going to happen exactly as God knows. If God made the decision, then it is not actually foreknowledge.
Foreknowledge means knowing what is going to happen, not making something happen.
The bible is very clear about what is required of us.
how does God decide who He is going to save?If you are saved it is because God has chosen to save you.
how does God decide who He is going to save?
If God knows that an event is going to happen, then it is going to happen exactly as God knows.
Therefore everything that God knows is predestined to happen exactly as He knows it will happen.
Now the question is, is God in control or are you in control?
If you are saved is it because you have chosen to save yourself, or because God has chosen to save you?
And if God is the one who saves you and you get saved, then it is through the process of Monergism that you are saved and not through the process of synergism.
Salvation is of God. If you are not saved, then it is because you are a sinner and you have chosen (in accordance with your sinful nature) to remain a sinner.
If you are saved it is because God has chosen to save you.
but its in our choice to allow him to save us
Then it is not all of God. He is constrained by our choice.
God needs your permission to save your soul?but its in our choice to allow him to save us
God needs your permission to save your soul?
That would make God's will subservient to yours.
Do you have a Bible verse that would support that idea?
Do you have a Bible verse for that sentiment?not if it was his primary will to give you that choice
Acts 7
51"You men who are (BT)stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did.
Luke 13
34"(AN)O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, (AO)just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not have it!
Abel I think I saw that quote of scripture earlier... deja vue maybe. ;-)
simply shows choice
Choice shown isn't predestination denied.simply shows choice
