That is not the gospel.

How do you define what the gospel is?
The Gospel shall always be misunderstood by you and
the unregenerate ( 1 Corinthians 1:18 ). And,
the Lord is not pleased to certify His Spirit to them.

"A natural man does not accept the
things of the Spirit of God ...and he
cannot understand them"
( 1 Corinthians 2:14 NASB )

We take too much upon ourselves when we attempt
to convince you. NOT in our job description ! Mark
16:15 tells us only to "preach the gospel" (NASB).

If you want to see a ID card from the Holy Spirit, you
are going to be disappointed. That you heard and
didn't believe shall nevertheless be held against you.

That does not answer my question.

What is the gospel?
The Gospel is the good news about the great
salvation purchased by Jesus Christ, by which
He reconciled sinful men to a holy God.

You have the Gospel. Just accept it, believe
and repent, and you will be saved.

We're NOT talking Irresistible Reprobation here.
The reprobate are going to hell by virtue of their
own choices.

The Lord created mankind, gave them a free will
( instead of creating robots ), and WE screwed it up.

Mankind lost their free will, becoming ~voluntary~
slaves to sin. We are incapable of obeying His
Law. And, we have no interest in really accepting
Christ.

So, to demonstrate His mercy, the Most High saves
a few. To demonstrate His justice and Holiness,
He judges the rest upon their choices.

The Lord ~could~ have made us mindless robots
-then, sin wouldn't be a problem.

The Lord ~could~ have saved everybody, and
shown that He is neither just nor holy.

The Lord ~could~ have saved nobody, and it
would have been perfectly fair ...but, He is
merciful and loving in addition to be just and
holy.

What's the point of the whole thing ? It glorifies
Him. The way He does it glorifies His mercy.
And, it glorifies His justice and holiness. ALL
aspects of Him are preserved, demonstrated. and
glorified. Pretty cool, huh ?

I'm not telling you anything, I'm proclaiming the gospel from the bible. It's the way it is but only effective to the elects, not you.

If I am not the elect, how can I refrain from adultery, lying, and fornication and you can't?

You can't not be sinner. You can't even get the basics right

I didn't say I wasn't a sinner; surely you jest.

How can I, who, according to you, isn't saved, do things God commands and you can't?

Besides, according to you, you can't keep from lying. I don't think I will believe what you say.

According to James, if you only listen to the word and don't DO what it says, you are deceiving yourself.

James 1:22
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

If you can't stop lying and, are deceived, you don't know the basics.

This totally negates our responsibility for obedience and faith.

Why even write the bible if this is the case?

This doctrine of Calvin if flawed logically and biblically.

He asked you about yourself, not atheists.
I'm not into meism like you two. It's all
about Jesus, not me nor men.

If someone believes they are saved from
a work they do their salvation is defective.
Eve got into trouble when she tried a glory
grab, the arminian make a glory grab of glory
that all belongs to the Lord Jesus.

All mankind continues that except you. You're the first in mankind to have the ability not to sin according to you. We believe you.
This is neither a rational response, nor a biblical response to the question asked. The question was "Are you saying those who continue in evil works are saved?" and it should be clear that those who continue in evil works are not saved. Please note what is stated in Titus 2:11,12): For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

All for whom Christ died, have been reconciled to God, by His death alone, not by their obedience, not by their faith, not by their repentance, but evenwhile they were being enemies, unbelievers, children of wrath as others BY NATURE, now if this be the case, their being reconciled, they cannot be under condemnation and wrath as others Jn 3:18,36 even while being unbelievers !

You see, they cannot be both condemned and under wrath as enemies and reconciled to God as enemies at the same time !

One of the reasons why everyone Christ died for are reconciled to God by His Death only, even while they are enemies or unbelievers , is because there is no sins against God's Law imputed to them, Christ's death has paid in full for them, and God has nothing against them, even while they themselves are enemies and unbeliers.

So its impossible for unbelievers whom Christ died for, to at anytime be considered one of the unbelievers pointed out here Jn 3:18 or Jn 3:36 !

Those are only unbelievers Christ did not died for and did not reconciled to God by His Death ! - beloved57

Jesus died for all men.

2 Cor 5:15
And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.

John 12:32
And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself."

1 John 2:2
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 Tim 4
9It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance. 10For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.

"All for whom Christ died" is incorrect.

1 John 2:2
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Christ died for all the sins of the world. Those who have been reconciled back to God have salvation through Jesus Christ.

Two different things.

This is incorrect also.

We are reconciled back to God through His death on the cross, when we show faith in Him as Lord for the forgiveness of sins.
