I'm not reshuffling Revelation, I'm putting it in order by connecting patterned language! Everybody does this in some way, shape, or form to better understand scripture and the order of prophetic events.
What you are doing; is taking the given order of events and scrambling them.
You say the Sixth Seal and the glorious Return are described the same. Not so, as at the SS the moon will shine blood red, but at the Return, it will not give any light.

The Lords Day of Vengeance and The Great Day of the Sovereign Lord: Revelation 16:14
2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 ... when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in blazing fire. Then he will mete out punishment to those who refuse to acknowledge God and who will not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, cut off from the presence of God. When, on that great Day He comes to reveal His glory amongst His own and His majesty to all believers.
Do not confuse this passage with the Return of Jesus in His glory. He does NOT come in fire then. This time, at the Sixth Seal event, He reveals Himself only to those who believe in Him and keep His Laws. Isaiah 24:23, Zechariah 9:14-17, 2

1/ The Day of Vengeance and the wrath of God;
Psalms 11:4-6 The Lord is in heaven,….. He will rain fiery coals onto the wicked….
Isaiah 66:15-16 See, the Lord is coming in fire, His sword will test mankind.
Micah 5:15 In anger and fury, I shall wreak vengeance on the nations who disobey Me.
Habakkuk 3:12 Furiously; You trample down the nations.
Malachi 4:1 The Day comes; burning like a furnace, evildoers will be as stubble.
Hebrews 10:27...a terrifying judgement of fire that will consume God’s enemies.
Isaiah 30:26 On the day that the Lord saves His people,[born again Christians] the sun will shine with seven times its usual strength and the moon will be as bright as the sun.
Revelation 14:17-20 ..the angel with authority over fire....the winepress of God’s wrath…

So, we see that the first event is the Lord sending fire by the means of an earth directed explosion of the suns surface, literally causing all the graphic effects prophesied.

2/ The Great Day of the Sovereign Lord; the Return of the Lord Jesus; Rev 16:14b
Matthew 24:29-31 As soon as this time of distress has passed [the Tribulation] the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give light, the stars will fall and all the heavenly bodies will be shaken. Then ALL the peoples will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. With a trumpet blast He will send His angels to gather His chosen from the farthest corners of the world. These will be all the people who have kept faithful to the Lord during the Tribulation as all the Christians will be living in the Land soon after the Day of vengeance. Rev 12:6-17
Revelation 19:11-21....Jesus Returns and the destroys Satan’s armies, by the Sword of His Word and Satan is bound until the end of the 1000 years. Zechariah 14:3-5

There will be four more judgement/punishments by the Lord, the first to happen soon, The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, a worldwide judgement of fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis, a world changer that will particularly affect the Middle East. Zephaniah 1:14-18, Ezekiel 30:1-5 This will enable His people, every faithful Christian person, Jew or Gentile, to settle in all of the Holy Land. Ezekiel 34:11-16, Romans 9:24-26
Then, later comes the Gog/Magog attack and their destruction. Ezekiel 38 & 39

At the Return of Jesus, He destroys the armies of the Anti Christ. Revelation 19:17-21 Then, at the end of the Millennium, there is another attack by a huge army, then comes the Great White Throne judgement of all people alive and dead.

Note: that in Rev 19:13 Jesus Returns in a garment dyed in blood. In Isaiah 63:3 He tramples the nations....and their blood spattered all his clothing. From this and the sequence in 2 Thessalonians, we can say that the Day of the Lord’s wrath- the Sixth Seal, Revelation 6:12-17 will be the next prophesied event of the end times.

What you are doing; is taking the given order of events and scrambling them.
You say the Sixth Seal and the glorious Return are described the same. Not so, as at the SS the moon will shine blood red, but at the Return, it will not give any light.

Let's take a closer look at the two passages in question once more.

Jesus' Words
6th Seal
“Immediately after the distress of those days ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ ‘Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.’” – Matthew 24:29-30
“I watched as he opened the sixth seal… The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?’” – Revelation 6:12-13, 15-17

As I'm sure you already know, the moon does not emit any light of it's own, but rather it gets its glow from its reflection of the suns light! Therefore, since both passages tell us that the sun is darkened, we can understand that the moon doesn't shine or reflect any light in either passage. Secondarily, we should understand that the moon turning "blood red" is a result of the moons surface being enveloped in rust (a reddish-colored form of corrosion). Being that rust is non-reflective, if a light-source were pointed at it, it wouldn't reflect any light. Therefore, when we read that "the whole moon turned blood red" as a part of the 6th seal, it's synonymous with Jesus' words that state "the moon will not give its light."

Remember the phrase "flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder," which is used to denote Jesus' physical presence at the 7th bowl? Well, that phrase actually appears another time in Revelation, and it illustrates that there will indeed be fire that falls upon the wicked when Jesus returns. That phrase is found in the passage where we see an angel throwing a golden censer filled with fire on earth.

7th Trumpet
6th Seal
Golden Censer Filled with Fire
7th Bowl
“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet,… Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.– Revelation 11:15,19
“I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.– Revelation 6:12-14
“Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.– Revelation 8:3,5
“The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquakeEvery island fled away and the mountains could not be found. From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people.” – Revelation 16:17-18,20-21

When we put these puzzle pieces together, they give us a very detailed depiction of what will happen on the day of Jesus' return. It's no coincidence that all these verse share similar language. If the 6th seal depicts Jesus' return (as evidenced in the first table of this post) and it contains language used in the 7th bowl and trumpet (which also depict Jesus' return as evidenced by the phrase "flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder"), then we can understand when we see the same terminology used in the depiction of fire being hurled on earth, that fiery wrath will also accompany Jesus' glorious return!

I am not an expert on physics or chemistry, but have read scientific facts on what is possible to happen:
We know about Coronal Mass Ejections, where the sun explodes out vast amounts of superheated Hydrogen Plasma. Right now the sun is in the active phase of cycle 25 and those who study these things, know there is a huge risk of the earth being badly affected by an earth directed CME.

It is what the Lord will use on His terrible Day of fiery wrath, Isaiah 30:26-30, Malachi 4:1-3 and as we see the Lord will save and protect His own peoples; those who call upon His Name. Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13

So, when a huge mass of superheated hydrogen, is blasted out from the sun, it will strike the moon and cause a thermoluminiscent reaction with the metallic oxides of the lunar dust. A very bright red chemical reaction, resulting in pure metals and water on the surface of the moon.
Revelation 6:12-17 describes the panic on earth and shows how we must take shelter until this CME passes. Isaiah 26:20-21

Your whole idea of Jesus Returning in wrath, is proved wrong by how He merely wipes out the attacking armies at Armageddon, by the power of His Word. They are not burned up, as the enemies will be at the Sixth Seal; Isaian 66:15-17, Jeremiah 25:30-33, 2 Peter 3:7, and 70 other Prophesies.

Woe is us: we had flashes of lightning, peals of thunder and even a small earthquake the other day. Where are You, Jesus?

Whats your agenda, Garrett ? Why must you make Jesus' Return into a disaster for the world?

The phrase "flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder," is both a physical manifestation and a symbol of Jesus' power, might, and authority. This being said, I encourage you to not mock The Lord.

As for me, I don't have any agenda. I am simply piecing together scripture to come to an accurate depiction of Jesus' return.

The world will have to be prepared for the glorious Return of Jesus.
Revelation 6:12 to Revelation 19:10, describes that preparation.

When Jesus Christ returns to reign for 1000 years, then those men and women who are to make up His government, will be on earth, ready for Him. They must have been prepared, prior to His return, for the offices to which they have been assigned.
I would consider that only in a regathered Israel, would conditions be suitable for the selection and training of those people.

Jeremiah chapter 29 The words of the Lord to the exiles of Judah and Israel:

Jeremiah 29:13-14 When you seek Me, if you search wholeheartedly you will find Me.
I shall restore your fortunes and gather you from all the places to which I have banished you. I shall resettle you in the Land from which you went into exile.

At this time, the Lord has to be searched for in faith. Those righteous Israelites who do seek and find the Lord, who are now every faithful Christian person; will be gathered and resettled in the Promised Land. Those Israelites who revolt and rebel will not set foot on the soil of Israel. Ezekiel 20:37-38
Only God knows who belongs to each of the 12 tribes. He will divide the peoples into 12 groups according to their individual characteristics.

Matthew 25:31-34 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, His angels with Him, He will sit on His Throne. With all the nations gathered before Him. He will separate them into two groups, as the sheep from the goats. The sheep on the right and the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on the right; Come, take possession of The Kingdom.

Those righteous and wicked nations existing on the earth at the beginning of the Millennium will be judged. Then, all of ”His chosen people” will join Israel in the Land. Matthew 24:31 The Land cannot be empty at the time of His Return as the two Witnesses are there in Jerusalem, then when they ascend to Heaven an earthquake will kill 7000 people. Revelation 11:13

Before that, is the gathering and judgement of the 12 tribes of Israel, as prophesied in Ezekiel 37:21-22, Amos 3:9 and Ezekiel 20:35-36 is another event in the “wilderness of the Peoples” where the Lord separates the Israelites and allows the righteous people, all faithful Christians, to settle in the Land.

Revelation chapter 7 ... the 144,000 sealed for protection

Before the Return of Jesus- otherwise, why need protection? Then, after the great and terrible Day of the Lord:
.... I saw a vast throng before the Throne, beyond counting......They are those who have passed through the great ordeal. [of the Sixth Seal]
..... The Lord will be their shepherd and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.

Psalms 97:1 The Lord reigns, let all the earth rejoice. Righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne.
Psalms 97:2-12 Cloud and thick mist enfolds Him. Fire goes ahead and consumes His enemies all around. His lightning flashes light up all the world and the earth quakes. Mountains melt like wax at His approach, God, the Maker of all things.
The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all the peoples look to His glory. Those who worship idols will be shamed – worship God, all you gods!

Zion hears and rejoices, all the towns of Judah are glad at your judgements. For You, are the Most High over all the earth.
The Lord loves those who hate evil and He keeps His loyal servants safe. He rescues them from the power of the wicked. Light comes upon His people and joy comes to the upright in heart. Rejoice in your God, all you that are righteous and praise His Holy Name.

Psalms 97 is the story in a ‘nutshell’ of what the Lord plans to do in the immediate future of our world:
Verse 1 – reminds us of the Lord’s Kingship and His just rule over His creation.

Verse 2-5 – Describes literally and accurately the next prophesied event, the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, when He won’t be seen. The Lord will use a seemingly natural disaster, a massive CME to destroy His enemies, those who are living in the Holy Land and those who conspire to attack the State of Israel. Psalms 83, Micah 4:11-12

Verse 6-7 – Tells how the false religions and the idols of our modern age, will be put to shame, that is: discredited and their holy places destroyed. eg; the Dome of the Rock

Verse 8-9 All of that area, from the Sea, [Mediterranean] to the Great river, [Euphrates – Numbers 34:1-12] will be cleared and cleansed. Isaiah 66:15-17

Verse 10-12 The Lord will protect and rescue everybody ‘who hates evil’ and those ‘who call on His Name’. Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21 His Spirit will be sent upon them. Ezekiel 36:25-28
They will live in all of that Land promised to the Patriarchs, in peace and prosperity. Isaiah 32:15-20, Ezekiel 34:11-16

Jesus is not present, as He will be later for His Millennial reign. This is clear from Ezekiel 34:30 Thus you will know that I: Y’hovah, your God, am with you and that you are My people. This is stated by Ezekiel 36 times. By His deeds, we will know Him.

Isaiah 6:11-13 I asked the Lord: How long? [Before the redemption of His people]
He answered; Until the Land and cities are ruined and deserted, the houses unoccupied. The Lord will drive the population far away and the country will be one vast desolation.
[All the holy Land] Even though a tenth of the people remain, they too, will be destroyed until only a stump remains, but that will become a holy seed.

The current population of the Holy Land will be virtually wiped out by the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath and of the remainder, only a remnant will survive, to ‘become a holy seed’ of the House of Judah. Their kinsmen; the House of Israel, now every faithful Christian person, will then join them. Ezekiel 37

Understanding the Prophesies correctly, requires a knowledge of ALL the scriptures pertaining to the subject. I don't claim to know every nuance, but having written over 800 articles on the Prophetic Word, I can claim to understand the basic Plan of God for the end times. I can assert:

that the scriptures do not say the Church will be raptured to heaven,

Most Prophecy remains unfulfilled,

the Jews will not be forgiven and redeemed;

We are not in the Millennium now,

We are not yet in the new Covenant with God,

There will be a new Temple in Jerusalem,

There will again be offerings and sacrifices made in the Temple,

The Holy Land is our Christian heritage.

The dead have no consciousness,

The Anti-Christ will not be a Jew.

The glorious Return of Jesus will not be unexpected.,

The Sixth Seal is the next Prophesied event and will commence all the end times.

Anyone who believes otherwise is deceived and has failed to comprehend the Truths of Bible Prophecy.
