I didnt care for the willow as lesbian thing either, i felt they did it to be "hip" and it was a very unbelievable plot line as well as the actresses werent very convincing. Plus her turning gay after Oz cheated on her is SO lame lol

I missed Oz. I blame that stupid she wolf! :p

Buffy was a show that demanded attention, that is for sure. Sometimes, one little line in an episode would seem to be just that... and later it'd turn out to be a plot point, or some sort of really huge metaphor if you remember.

Joss-written episodes are the best at that, I think.

My sister bought Season five of Angel on Tuesday and we were up until 4:30 am yesterday / today finishing it. We sat down with the intention of only watching one episode, "Smile Time", but then wanted to watch another and of course after that point,

*** Spolier Alert!!!!***

with Fred dying, Conor coming back etc. we couldn't stop. I cried so hard when Fred and Wes died! I was so mad that they finally got Fred and Wes together and they kill Fred almost right after. The demon who took over her body (name escapes me right now) was a cool character though, but I definitely missed Fred.

So what do you all think? Do they kill the demons and dragon at the end or all die?

You'll have to read my novel to find out. :)

As for being mad Fred died right after she and Wes got together.... well that's Joss for ya. He has something against relationships actually making it in his shows it seems.

I saw the episode where Angel inc takes over wolfram and hart, and angel gives Conner a happy life for the first time today.

it was so sweet it made me semi-tear up!

That episode was written as a possible series finale (a 5th season had not yet been picked up when it was written, so it was a series finale/new season pilot double).

And I must say, in some ways, it would have been a better finale than the one we actually got (though the one we got was great too).

Hm... well IMDB doesn't seem to show any possible overlaps between the end of Angel in 2004, and the Crow movie in 2005... So... Either it was some part he had that's not been listed, or he just felt like growing his hair out. *shrugs*
