SpaceProg said:Spike was a rejected romantic dork at heart. He may have been all big and bad with a chip on his shoulder (and in is head...) at times, but deep down, he was still the nerdy William that Cecily rejected, and he hated that.
Blackhawk said:Buffy was good but it went down hill after Oz left and Willow became a lesbian. Oz was the best character and Willow just got weird. I have watched almost all of the episodes in reruns. The later seasons are pretty lame. Really I did not like the Glory plot line or season 6 much at all. Dawn is pretty much useless as a character and so is Willow's girlfriend. Anya is okay. the problem with Buffy is that all of the best characters either changed (Willow, Xander, Spike) or left the show (Angel, Oz, Cordelia). Oh and that whole army thing got really old also. I think that was where Buffy started to decline.
Lithium Hobo said:I agree exactly. Though I didn't mind Willow getting 'weirder', I did miss Oz. I hated Glory and Dawn just got on my nerves with her selfish moaning and crying. Anya provided some comic relief here and there, but not much else use for her.
SpaceProg said:I always thought the whole "Willow turning gay" Thing was a bit forced in my opinion, but I don't want this thread turning into a debate about that. All in all though, I liked how the characters evolved and changed... when it didn't seem overtly made or forced to happen.
