Broken Crucifix

Recently, I return home and found that my crucifx was snapped in half.
This is the day after that California passes Prop.8 and rejected prop.4...

Now, as a vehement supporter of Proposition 8, I rejoiced and celebrated when the news came that it passed, much to the dismay of the mostly liberal classmates.

Is God sending me a sign that my belief regarding homosexuality as a sin is wrong or...?

If that was true and God didnt believe it was a sin or wrong to believe it was a sin. That would go against Gods Word.

It is made clear about the acts of homosexuality. even fornication between male/female.

Remember one thing, whether it is a dream, vision, thought or feeling. Even if a beutiful angel came before you, if it is against Gods written word, than it isnt from God.

Sounds to me like you made someone VERY unhappy. And I dont mean the Lord hankpin. Hey good on you for standing up for truth. Many young people buckle under the pressure Well many people regardless of their age give into the herd mentally. God bless.

Was that a dream you had or a literal event? I wouldn't draw any conclusion because of a crucifix found snapped in half. What is more important is what His Word declares about the items you note. That is the indication of truth and God's view on such matters, not events or things around us.

I did just have another thought. This could represent the polarization of the world and church or the dividing of even the church over these issues. My mother told me yesterday about a more conservative church having a huge division over the election here in the states.

It is an actual event and I live in California.
I am a Catholic, but stopped going to church due to the "progressive" theology preached by the priests that are apparently against the Vatican.

It still kind of troubles as since I am apparently a " Christo-fascist pig who used theology to justify hate, intolerence, and homophobic ideals"

These are assumptions made by other people against you. Intimidation based on their perception of danger.

There have been outrageous people over the years who have verbally and physically attacked without provocation. Anyone who is attacked or has seen the dangers, will try to shelter themselves from future risks.

It is our responsiblity to live out our lives as we believe we should, with a precision that prevents misunderstandings like this. If you can show love at the same time that you show disagreement, then you are working toward a calmer social state. Fewer accusations.

There will always be people who misunderstand you. But try to find some opportunities to express exactly what you believe, so that sensibilities can find their way into more discussions.

That was obvious people were thinking that and you probably had clashes and heard such sour words from your post. (I doubt you would have even entertained such thoughts if it were not for people telling you such things.)

I have left churches where there is "progressive" theology [or other rotten theology]. It should be noted that "progressive" ideology is actually tied into fascism and modern Communism. It is distinctly secular in design and comes from the secular movement of the nineteenth century... a natural offshoot from Darwinistic, Nietzchean, Marxist thought...

They started taking up the mantle of being "liberal" in the forties. (This form of "liberalism" is anything but.)

In the time of Woodrow Wilson (who brought about the Sedition and Alien Acts of WWI), there were some dim ties to Christianity, claims to it... but today it is largely an anti-God philosophy.

My guess would be someone in your household actually broke it.

This isn't to many any "progressive" is sure damned, but on the further reaches of the left this sort of thinking is definitely fascist, lockstep.

Hence, they are projecting their own sins to you.

Slanderers always are guilty of the very sins they project onto others... in one form or another. This is why the Law says the false witness should receive the punishment they were seeking for others.
