Ouch! Not nice at all. But it's not nice to call your father such a name either Jim

Nevertheless, I think all major cities have some people in them who ought to be locked away until they change their ways.
I remember being followed home from my Xmas job when I was in High School. The streets were darker then. I turned and walked into the first house I came to and knocked on the door & called out..."Yoo Hoo everyone! I'm Home - and call the cops...there's a man following me!!" Next thing, I heard running steps down the street - I learned how fast bats would leave hell in that moment...

sorry, but saying something like that is showing yourself to be a moron (your dad I mean, Jim, not you)...

And I got out of their quick smart (one of the comments made at Surry Hills, another in the middle of the city and another near Darling Harbour/Rocks area)...

Yes those extra comments really clears things up...lol....

I've had heaps of problems with my dad...he is so ignorant, he demands respect and status, and for all the things he has done...he doesn't deserve it.

I tell him, follow Jesus in the true path and his way and I'll respect you...but he chooses money and the prosperity gospel

okay back to original topic, sandgate, shorncliffe and redcliffe, are nice seaside places to visit in brisbane. sandgate and shorncliffe can be accessed by train.
there's brisbane forest park near enoggera i think , it has walking trails and stuff. new farm park is a nice place to walk around and they used to have huge trees to climb.

and you can see pictures of the valley fire at www.brisbanecitychurch.com

sasch - have you been down south a bit? The natural arch is pretty awesome, very beautiful and great place for a swim. went a few months ago with a youth group and you can jump from up high in this big hole where the waterfall comes down.... a bit on the chilly side though. Luckily a ranger stopped us from doing it cause hypothermia was rapidly setting in!

other than that - O'rielleys - where you can walk in a tree-top boardwalk, and then climb to the top of this massive tree with a platform near the top.

Moreton island is awesome, but i'm sure you've been there. going camping there this weekend! cant wait!

ummm... glasshouse mountains and maleny - you've probably been there also.

There's some cool spots at Mt Tamborine - including this place called thunderbird park where you can go horseriding. Never done that but would love to give it a crack.

Mt Warning is great as well....

ok i'll stop now.

But as for your claim of an infinate knowledge of brisbane... i'll come up with something... i'm not done yet! Gotta run though cause i havent packed for moreton and the ferry leaves in a couple of hours.... ie:

No packing + still at work + ferry leaving 6.30 = AAARGH
