Hi Sacha,

Mt. Cootha is a nice area, so is Cedar Creek in Samford.

Wynnum Esplanade is also a great place to drive down and just sit on the bench during the evenings. I used to go there to pray whenever there was something weighing on my mind.

Do you go to any churches in Brisbane? I also moderate a young Christians site on Yahoo! at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BrisbaneChristianYouth
where you might get some tips and ideas from others too.

I live at The Gap, so I know a bit about that area of town - if I had more time I'd go Mt Glorious, Mt Nebo, Samford, d'aguilar highway, kilcoy, through to Lake Wivenhoe and back home - takes about 5 hours, but the hot chips at the BP on the highway are worth it

ok i'm on here for 5 minutes. This is my winner. Sasch - the Swiss Bakery in Maleny, then followed off by these award winnding fresh ice-creams just up the street.
