You heard my testimony, it stands by itself. Supported by the Holy Spirit, I know it to be true.
You were obviously not where I am within the Church of Jesus Christ. Answer a couple of questions and we can know where you were.
What office of priesthood did you hold?
Did you have a temple recommend, and for how long?
Did you fulfill a calling in your ward?
Did you pay a full tithing?
Did you have an assignment to do home-teaching?
Just a few that will help us get a glimpse of your church activity in our church.
If you think that is too much info, answer only those that you are comfortable answering.
How would you know this? You say I am in a cult, but I live on faith that Jesus is the Christ, not on insurmountable evidence.
How bout you?
You know what? That supposedly your dreams about your Church and you faith in it and your prophets --are going to come true? You heard my testimony, it stands by itself. Supported by the Holy Spirit, I know it to be true.

If all Jesus has is flesh and bone he would not be alive. It is the spirit that animates or gives life to the flesh and bone.Where does God say in the Bible that we need to get a doctorate in resurrection engineering?
I say flesh and bone and spirit because it is pure spirit that will take the place of blood in a resurrected body. --Peter1000
Oh, really? this verse definitely differs
Luke 24:39
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for A SPIRIT hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.
I will definitely take Christ's Word on this.
If all Jesus has is flesh and bone he would not be alive. It is the spirit that animates or gives life to the flesh and bone.
All Jesus was saying is that a spirit is not made of flesh and bone. That is a true statement. And I believe it. I would definitely take Christ's Word on this.
What he is not saying is: I have no spirit in me. Again it is resurrection 101.
Yes, Jesus definitely has a body of flesh and bones.Luke 24:39
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for A SPIRIT hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.
This is "understanding what the scriptures are saying 101"
Had that body when He reappeared to His disciplesYes, Jesus definitely has a body of flesh and bones.
And He still has His body of flesh and bones:Had that body when He reappeared to His disciples
Luke 24:39
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for A SPIRIT hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.
.
And He still has His body of flesh and bones:
(New Testament | 1 John 3:2 - 3)
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
He appeared more than twice and He is still the same and will be the same when He returns:That verse says absolutely nothing about Christ being in a flesh and bone existence----now.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
See Him as He is, not see Him as He once [or really twice] appeared to man
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. He appeared more than twice and He is still the same and will be the same when He returns:
(New Testament | Acts 1:7 - 11)
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
He will come back with the same body as when He assented into heaven.11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Like manner. not the same manner.
Now since He WAS manifested in the flesh
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
There you go.
Well, expect to be surprised in the End.He will come back with the same body as when He assented into heaven.
I am not disillusioned to the fact that Jesus Christ has a body of flesh and bones.Well, expect to be surprised in the End.
This from the MSG translation
1 Timothy 3:16
He appeared in a human body,
was proved right by the invisible Spirit,
was seen by angels.
He was proclaimed among all kinds of peoples,
believed in all over the world,
taken up into heavenly glory
You obviously do not understand the term Manifested in the Flesh or appeared in a human body.
Manifested and appeared are past tense, btw
Why are you NOT disillusioned?I am not disillusioned to the fact that Jesus Christ has a body of flesh and bones.
He STILL has a body of flesh and bones. It did not fall off when He ascended into heaven. Why are you NOT disillusioned?
You have to prop up the belief that JS was visited by Christ and God in a flesh and bones appearance.
Jesus Christ haD a body of flesh and bones.
You have to prop up the belief that JS was visited by Christ and God in a flesh and bones appearance. He STILL has a body of flesh and bones. It did not fall off when He ascended into heaven.
Well I still believe the Bible. You have to prop up the belief that JS was visited by Christ and God in a flesh and bones appearance.
Jesus Christ haD a body of flesh and bones.
And the Bible say He Has [instead of Had} a body of flesh and bones? The Bible was written today?Well I still believe the Bible.
