Sure. Sounds reasonable. Very reasonable. If it was isolated.

But it isn't.

With too many of these terrorism incidents that makes MSM news there is some sort of drill associated with it. Starting with 911, and even as recent as Sandy Hook, FEMA or some agency was doing a drill that was associated with the theme of the event, at or around the place of the event, and at or near the same time as the event. Not just in the USA, either. Remember the London bombing? Yep, there just happened to be a bombing drill taking place at the same time and place as the actual incident.

I guess one could believe in amazing coincidences like these, but I'd really have to question if they weren't operating on a heavy confirmation bias because they are afraid it might be true.

why would it be isolated?

You would do a run through with bomb dogs on every event so 100% of bombings at those events would have drills to try and prevent them.

Can you imagine the conspiracy theorists response if there HADN'T been bomb dogs doing their basic job? Seriously, when police doing their actual job is used by some as evidence of a conspiracy... What, seriously, ISN'T cited as evidence of a conspiracy, by someone, somewhere?

I and other members of the 2000 Sydney Olympics bomb search team want to know?

Right, because with all the people it would take to perform these conspiracies, there have been amazingly no leaks or defectors or anything like that.

The conspiracy theories just don't add up. Sorry to bust your paranoid bubble. Random acts of violence just happen.

It's amazing that you can say that, as there have been plenty of leaks and defectors with regards to some of these events. Sometimes, amazingly, they even make it to the corporate lamestream news, though not usually. Or at least, not until long after the event when people don't care anymore, such as was admitted with the bs story of the Gulf of Tonkin incident that started USA's involvement in Vietnam and killed lots of people.

At this point, with regard to this incident, it's too early to tell who exactly was behind it. One might call the Drill at the same time part of a known MO, but that isn't conclusive by itself. I'm sure other pieces of the puzzle will surface in time.

But in any case, this is a highly political event, because of the day it took place on. Look for the government to start blaming "home grown" terrorists, tea party people, and "patriots". Bet on it.

Report: Suspect in Boston Marathon bombings in custody; a Saudi National
By Shoebat Foundation on April 15, 2013 in Blog, General

"Looks like there is a suspect in the Boston marathon bombings and at least one report has identified a suspect who shared the same nationality as the vast majority of the 9/11 hijackers..."

-- Report: Suspect in Boston Marathon bombings in custody; a Saudi National | Walid Shoebat

It is reasonable to assume that this was carried out by an organization similar to Al Qaeda. It was a twin explosion, often used by professional Muslim terrorists (one bomb to create victims, the next to maim rescuers), and, as in most Al Qaeda attacks, it is full of symbolism.

The symbolism? Today is Israeli Independence Day, which is why Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas ordered the start of the "Third Intifada" in Israel today. The events in Israel amounted to a sizzle and a pop; but Abbas's colleagues in Boston made more of an impression.

Welcome to the Middle East. This sort of thing has become rather commonplace in Israel, these past 13 years. Maybe we'll learn a tip or two from them, on how to deal with it.

Why would a Saudi do this? Don't we make their nation rich by buying their oil?
I didn't say he did this. Walid Shoebat says they have a Saudi in custody. It is too soon to speculate on which individuals are involved; but as I said above, the modus operendi seems to point to Al Qaeda & ilk.

As for "why", I think it's obvious: Today is Israeli Independence Day, and Boston has a substantial Jewish population. US Secretary of State Kerry (an ethnic Jew, from Boston) is also trying to restart the "Peace Talks" that the Arabs shut down. This may very well be the Palestinian way of saying "Do things our way, or else!"

Right. Which is why the bombs went off right across the river from me in Brookline, where the Jewish population is most concentrated.

Oh, wait. No they didn't.

*Eye roll* remember what I said about people with axes to grind "proving" the group they don't like being responsible? Behold...

And quoting the wannabe former terrorist Walid Shoebat, who is a big fraud. :)

The New York Post is responcable for the reporting of a Saudi national being in custody, the story however doesn't seem to be true:

Let me educate some of you, the bombing today was text boom terrorist activity one bomb goes off and stops or freezes the target then another goes off a hundred or so yards away from the initial IED to trap the target in a certain area it's called the X. It happens to us all the time it's a text book maneuver. I never blamed any any middle Eastern country I'm just stating that the act itself using explosives on civilians to kill or injure, and cause panic and fear is an act of terrorism. So whom ever is responsible for this is in fact a terrorist no matter where he or she is from. So as I said earlier keep your heads up think smart and not w/ anger, erase fear help your wounded and your city to push forward and show the world that Americans care for their own and will not be bullied or beaten into submission. We have been hit before and sadly we have been hit again, but each time we get up shake the dust off and continue our way of life no matter what. I will be praying for all of you be strong and never no matter what lay down and quit. God bless.

saudi leaders do. some in SA have a major grudge against the US that came to a head during the gulf war.

The saudi establishment is firmly against it though, as the US is an ally and major trade partner.

These saudi extremists sympathize with Palestine, and use it as further excuse for aggression. I dont think they consider the backlash it produces.

Everyone seems to be placing this attack as a form of "Islamic Aggression". Being an ex-Muslim I am assured that no rational Muslim would have done this since it is not the act of terrorism itself but the message it creates. This bombing has no message and is entirely random. It is far more inline with the actions of an idiotic wackadoodle then an extremist.

Well Obama recently sent Palestine $700 million, so if it was a Palestine supporter, shouldn't he have been happy about the money? Sad to say, but this stuff just makes people world wide dislike Muslims that much more. If people found out he was a Palestine sympathizer, that would just make people lean more on Israel's side, wouldn't it?

Just spit ballin' here.

Ah, I see you are still making the good natured rookie mistake of trying to apply logic and rationale to either/both terrorists/conspiracy theorists. I know its hard to grasp but, essentially, these people don't think like the rest of us. You can't win with logic or critical thinking, or similar.
