I just watched the Mayor's press conference and some fool kept shouting "False Flag!".

You have to wonder where these great wise ones... those who are so wise that within the first few hours of an event can with certainty claim that xyz is a false flag were before this happened?

These people disgust me.

To be a smartbutt I'd say we should round em up and question them about what they know and where they were when this happened and why they think it's a false flag, but they'd love that.

Hi. I'm still sifting through smelly stuff down here in the sewers. I've come across some interesting turds, but nothing conclusive yet. Rest assured though, my tin foil hat is always at my side and I will give alert if I find turds that don't match any of the usual suspects. Where is the conspiracy? BEFORE an international race that draws a lot of attention, the police go through with bomb sniffing dogs in an exercise to 1) find bombs and 2) train for future sporting events like this.

I don't think Obama, Bush, liberals, conservatives, republicans, democrats really matters here. There was an attack, people died, people were hurt. Now time to find out who and why.

I'm not so much an Obama supporter, but I feel relieved when he makes speeches, reassuring us that everything will be ok.... Hope he carries out with his promises though.

Watch this space... Seriously, conspiracy loons will be crawling out from their rocks to blame all the people and groups you just mentioned, and dozens of others besides. Strangely, the people with axes to grind against particular groups will inevitably find "irrefutable" evidence that their chosen group to hate was responsible. I was thinking it would take days or weeks, but there are ALREADY posts blaming unlikely groups on youtube and blogs.

But it isn't.

With too many of these terrorism incidents that makes MSM news there is some sort of drill associated with it. Starting with 911, and even as recent as Sandy Hook, FEMA or some agency was doing a drill that was associated with the theme of the event, at or around the place of the event, and at or near the same time as the event. Not just in the USA, either. Remember the London bombing? Yep, there just happened to be a bombing drill taking place at the same time and place as the actual incident.

I guess one could believe in amazing coincidences like these, but I'd really have to question if they weren't operating on a heavy confirmation bias because they are afraid it might be true.

Ya.... This seems like something the NRA will use "see, even when bombs are banned, people will use them" or "see, people can find other ways to kill besides with guns". I think Americans should just be Americans and stop blaming each other. United we stand, divided we fall. And today, we are not liberals or conservatives. We are just Americans.

It's just a little sad that it takes tragedys for some people to realize we're all part of the same nation.
