Anyone seen the news about this game? It sounds brilliant! A lot like what Deus Ex 2 should have been (great skill system, lots of interactivity, and virtually unlimited problem solving paths). As a long time White Wolf fan I'm interested in seeing how V:TM converts to the computer. The previous attempt, well, it blew. To put it mildly. This one seems to be better, mainly because they're correcting the flaws of the last game - limited choice paths, overemphasis on combat, and pathetic AI. Oh yeah, the graphics stunk too.

This game the studio has taken some interesting choices in solving these issues. They've completely outsourced many parts of this game, including the AI and the graphics engine. Personally I'm pleased. RPG makers who bother to create engines nearly always make inferior products to FPS games, simply because there's so much more to an RPG then graphics that it's hard to invest great amounts of time in them. And for a graphics engine it's hard to beat HL:2's. Probably the most advanced graphical engine to date, the HL2 engine is creating some stunning graphics for the game.

I didn't think that Redemption was all that bad. There were problems, yes, but it was revolutionary in a lot of senses, particularly how it handled multi-player. If it had gotten a decent expansion pack or two that covered the areas it skipped over, and smoothed it out generally, it would have been better remembered, I think.
