If Greater Surveillance is the goal, the Mask Mandate, making facial recognition nearly impossible for the myriad of facial recognition cameras that government has spent millions putting up everywhere, is sure a terrible way to further that goal...

Instead, Mask wearing has become a freedom catalyst for society. I can even walk into a Bank with a full face mask on and no one bats an eye.

I never thought I'd live in a society so free that I could do my in person banking with a full face mask.

I have a cyber-security company, and I work with multinationals on risk mitigation, privacy, and other issues

Most people are completely unaware of the dystopia that could be right around the corner unless people start pushing back on issues of privacy, censorship, government intimidation, etc.

There have been high-level discussions between large tech firms, ISPs, and social media companies regarding limiting access to content, and preventing "disinformation" (which is simply information the government and tech firms don't want people spreading). Some want to set up what amounts to a "Great American Firewall". What would that do?

1. Block access to restricted regions or countries, content, and sites. How? Your ISP will block encrypted traffic on a protocol-level, restrict access to foreign networks, and tech firms / social media will censor content. All this will be done in the name of "protecting you" from "hate speech", "Russian propaganda", etc.

2. Fintech payment systems like Paypal are already coordinating with left-wing activist organizations like the ADL to identify payments to radical groups or anyone they deem "extremist", "hateful", etc. In other Paypal is sharing user payment information with political groups, and doxxing their users.

3. Efforts to create a CBDC which would limit what we can spend our money on, etc.

4. Banks are cancelling the accounts of individuals and organizations based on politics. This happens more in the UK, but it can happen here as well.

Basically, they will control what you can see, and if you get out-of-line, and criticize the government, etc., they will cancel your bank accounts, deplatform you, and doxx you.

The political left in the US overwhelmingly supports all of this, but I would remind those people that they would have their rights taken away in such a system as well.

Yes, bank accounts or credit cards or credit lines have been controlled and just cancelled without known reasons - with no requirement for the banks to tell the truth.

According to TBN - China is dumping/investing a huge portion of their GDP into AI.

Are not most cell phones, with computers in them mightier and faster than a lot of desktops or laptops have been, made in China ?
