Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
That contradicts what we saw unfold. Conservatives here were saying that BLM would cost Dems votes and many Dems agree that it hurt the party. They brought zero benefit to the Democratic Party. No local politicians benefited from BLM In my state - what are ypu talking about? Who specifically on the local level was “playing” protesters?
I’m certainly going to vote for the candidate who will cause the least amount of harm. And that’s the position of almost all of the ppl in this movement. You’re not privy to what we think, feel, and believe unless we tell you so it’s kind of silly to act like you know better.
All sorts of surprising political allegiances are coming out these days. The powers that be may only pay lip service to certain groups without actually caring much about them. Also, politicians respond to large cash donations. That is how you get meetings with them typically. This is genally well known. BLM may need to pay for position more than rally.
