  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Former Biden Staffer Says Kamala Harris Wouldn’t Have Had ‘Courage’ to Strike Iran

Jamie Metzl may have voted for then-Vice President Kamala Harris when she ran for president, but has since said the Democratic candidate would not have had “the courage” to launch strikes against Iran.
Metzl, a former Democratic staffer, praised President Donald Trump for launching strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday. Metzl was on the National Security Council under President Bill Clinton and was deputy staff director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee under then-Chairman Joe Biden

Another thread lacking any added value.

There is no purpose of this thread other than attacking a woman who lost an election and may have seen her political career ended by that result.

This type of discourse and unwarranted criticism is why many people despise politics.

Yet you found it important enough to criticize.

Welcome to the American Politics forum where discussion and debate takes place on political issue - which the OP is one.

You are welcome to add to the discussion - if you find it of no value - you are also welcome not too.

sure
Biden got Iran up to 60% enrichment, with 50 stronger missiles added each month, and continual improvement in infrastructure, all while "working things out with Iran"

Another few months (of Biden or Haris) would likely have allowed Iran to reach 90% (weapons grade) and allow them to have the flexibility of deciding WHEN to mount the weapons and become a nuclear power at any time (perhaps at the base deeper in the mountain than those destroyed). And the talks would have continued.

We have no information regarding uranium enriched to 60% or 90%. Netanyahu has been warning since 2001 that Iran would have a nuclear bomb within six months. Ariel Sharon urged President W. Bush to attack Iran due to the Likud party's consistent warnings that "Iran is six months away from building bombs."

In all honesty, neither President Biden nor Vice President Harris, nor even if Dick Cheney were the President of the United States, would have bombed Iran. Do you remember President W. Bush's "Axis of Evil" speech delivered during the State of the Union address? Despite his strong rhetoric, he chose not to take military action against Iran due to the considerable complexity of the situation.

I support President Trump's actions regarding Iran. Although I am unsure of his exact motivations, I am pleased he proceeded with the attack. Prior to the attack, I had doubts, especially considering that some on the right were against it.

While I support President Trump’s decision, his actions following the strike are confusing and disappointing. President Trump wants to move forward as soon as possible, even before fully inspecting the outcome of the strike. If one strike could end Iran's nuclear program, John Bolton and Dick Cheney would have convinced W. Bush to do so long before Saddam Hussein's regime was toppled in Baghdad.

I criticize because you opened a thread with no added value, only to express your discontent with the opposition, regardless of how petty it appears.
