I think Lunar does a great job of translating. I have never watched toriyama or a-keep, are they that much better? Sort of like [Anbu] for Naruto?

yeah, toriyama is the best, but akeep is pretty good too...better than lunar....much better quality, generally more accurate translations
i still like lunar a lot though, they're much better than a lot of other groups...i don't bother with archiving because i don't have the space on my computer for that, lol. and unfortunately i don't have a dvd burner and i'm not going to burn long series to cds becuase that would make a ridiculous amount of cds...
but my brother (who isn't at home anymore and has his own comp which is much better than ours) always gets the toriyama's world ones to replace the akeep ones when they come out and then for the ones that toriyama's world hasn't completed he gets akeep to replace the lunar ones

So the latest episode made me mad because it was pointless and filler-tacular. Don Kanoji is getting a bit annoying now. I want to see Ichigo's bankai!!!

Yeah, as good as the animation team is generally for the anime, they seem to be not very creative...it seems the only thing they can think of to use as filler is don kanonji. and it's pretty pathetic filler too...ururu and jinta are strong enough to defeat some shinigami. theres no way they couldn't easily demolish that hollow.
I doubt you'll get to see ichigo's bankai next week either though, but there should be some fun action as long as its not another dumb filler ep

I figure we'll have to see some sort of huge climax in the story VERY soon since Rukia has less than a day left before her execution. But then again anime likes to stretch time to the max, so it may be a month before we see anything happen. But I think either next week or definitely the week after, we'll see Ichigo learn his bankai. So is it just cool, or REALLY cool? Like am I gonna pee my pants type of cool?

haha hmm...i guess it depends on your definition of cool...but its definitely not what you would expect what he does with it and the fight with it is definitely REALLY cool though....

I think they should show Ichigo's bankai in the next episode for sure. THey have to after this past week's episode which was awesome by the way. Finally we got to see the squad 9 captain, the big guy with the straw helmet covering his whole head. When he and the black captain with glasses attacked Zaraki and he just stood there laughing, that was soooo cool. Bleach just keeps on getting better and better every episode.

lol, i don't think we'll be seeing ichigo's bankai in the next ep either.....i forgot about the fight between zaraki, komamura and tousen....yep, it might be a little while...maybe in 2-4 eps??

I actually prefer the way they do filler in Bleach. It's endearingly shameless, usually amusing, and it allows them to keep tight pacing for the main story arcs. Basically, the way they do it, you could completely skip the filler eps and not miss any arc-relevant stuff. Contrast this with shows like DBZ and Naruto, where they usually just stretch out fights way too long...

yeah, i gotta agree that i like how they keep the fillers very separate from the main storyline rather than stretching out fights and making them suck, but i just don't like how they always use dumb don kanonji and make ururu and jinta look like they suck, and make karin kinda stupid
