I dunno... I think VIZ did a decent job on Inu Yasha (as good as anyone could have anyway..)
I mean... I've always enjoyed the orig. jap. voices over the eng. dubs... But there have been acceptions...

Ghost in the Shell,
Cowboy Bebop,
Gundam Wing,
Outlaw Star.

What I'm hopeing is that VIZ will realise that Bleach is such an awesome breakthough anime, there can be NO mistakes... and carefully plan out who they want to voice over the characters.

Maybe we should all start emailing and writeing in our concerns and perhaps they will realise how high the demand and the market will be for it to be as good as it can be.

There's my hope and prayer o.o

I at least hope they will make some sort of attempt to pronouce the names correctly. This will be hard as there are a LOT of strait up Japanese names in that show. Ichigo (Please Viz don't call him "Strawberry", I beg you.) Zaraki Kenpachi, Inoue, Ishida, Rukia, Hitsuguya,... It could go on for a while.

And one thing I'm hopeing is that the attacks and names of the Zanpakutou's will stay the same...

Like Gegetsubuti instead of Five-formed head...
And Zenbonzakura instead of Vibrant display of 1000 cherry blossoms...

Byakuya - it means "midnight sun" in Japanese.

probably soul reaper and soul slayer.

It's pretty cool seeing a lot of the shinigami in earth clothing... and on cd's >.>

That's something I liked about the first opening of Bleach, they were really down to earth (as much as an anime like this can be anyway)

just watched bleach ep 60 (yeah i know, i'm slow) so while i was watching it i was wondering, after ichigo defeats everyone and the whole mystery of aizen teaming up with gin is over, what will happen? will they go back to normal life or what? and also, anyone care to tell me what is currently happening? cause i get the CD's from my friend and only can watch what she gives me

In the manga, they've started on a new arc. The results of Aizen playing around with the houk-thingy happen almost right away. It's mostly set in Karakura Town, but there are still shinigami running around.

The anime is doing a filler arc until the manga gets far enough ahead to animate the new stuff without spoiling everybody. So Aizen needs a year to prepare to use the Houk-thingy, and the stuff that's going on doesn't have anything to do with him. It's not as good as the real thing, but it's about as good as filler gets.

I can tell you more about either one, but I don't know how much you want to be spoiled.

Y'know, I really have no problem with Bleach fillers. They're actually entertaining.
Unlike Naruto.....

I rather enjoyed that fight between Ichigo and that other Shinigami.

Oh, I don't mean to diss them at all. It's just that everybody else on the internets seems to be whining about them, when really they're as good as they can possibly be. They'll fold pretty well into the main storyline, they focus on a character who won't have as much screen time in the next arc, they actually have an interesting plot and characterization arcs to them (Ichigo getting back his *spoiler*, Ishida becoming more set in his attitude), and they show a slightly different part of the Bleach!world without being inconsistent with what comes before or after them. There are elements that I don't agree with, like their treatment of Renji, but overall they're just fine. Which is what filler ought to be.

I have been sorta enjoying these Bounto fillers. The last 2-3 episodes have been good, actually seeing some Shinigami action. I wish Ichigo could just get his bankai back already and whoop their butts. Also the quality of animation seemed higher, or the coloring seemed different, but different as in better lately. Are they using a different studio now or something? Also my friend told me that Bleach got licensed to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, so do you think this is good or bad?

I'm getting a little tired of the whole dramatic pause before killing the enemy thing, fearing that they will escape... and they do...

So, anyone know how much longer this filler will be? I'm enjoying the fights, though they aren't that action packed... but still, I kind of want it to end now.
