  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

it's amazing, and it's even more amazing how the main character can come through all powerful when he should be more than half dead with the wounds he's taken.

and it's way more amazing that nobody does anything to stop the two captains from killing that 'bird'. It's powerful but it got defeated in... a matter of seconds??

and that woman captain is terrible. All she does is order her subordinate around. Wouldn't it be quicker if she jumps into the fray herself?

don't take me wrong, i love this episode, but it's just... *shake head* incredible.

Thats cause no one was too thrilled about the execution to begin with. Why should they stick out their neck and attack fellow captains if they don't really care whether or not the execution goes through.

no one? what about Rukia's brother and that old man with a long beard?

oh, and i forgot to mention one more thing. The captain of team ten, the boy with white hair, should be the first one to arrive at the scene. He's the first to realise that the execution must be stopped and has also been 'walking' to the execution ground a couple of episodes earlier. Howcome he's still in the middle of walking to it, and he says 'hurry', but he never hurries! unlike the pink haired vice-captain.

uhhh, this episode is ultra-cool, but the impossibilities it presents just drives me insane.

a very very bad stroke for a writer is to attempt to get across what he wants by sacrificing the plot.

Captain Kuchiki, Rukia's brother, apparently doesn't care about her execution which is why he didn't interrupt, but there may be other reasons not yet shown for why he didn't do anything at first. (something to do with that picture of the woman who looks like Rukia he was looking at maybe?) As far as the captain of Squad 1, who knows what he truly thinks, we don't see much of him anyhow. I also think Captain Hitsugaya is up to something more than just walking up to the site, maybe something like what Captain Ukitake did with that shield thing.

um, that picture IS Rukia. It's eastern culture to keep a picture of your loved one (dead, mind you) in a cupboard, for some families anyway. That scene basically conveys that he thinks Rukia is as good as dead.

i think the author's trying to explain away that all those captains are too stunted and surprised to act, but it just doesn't measure up to their abilities.

I also think Captain Hitsugaya is up to something more than just walking up to the site

oh, i hope so! else that would be so lame.
