Tensions are extremely high this weekend for the March of Return protests in Gaza, which are expected to be intense. Hundreds are being bused in from various areas of Gaza for the demonstrations. Israel is fully prepared for a ground operation into Gaza to completely remove Hamas (a Palestinian faction in Gaza) from the equation, but Netanyahu has said he wouldn't resort to that until all other options have been exhausted. It looks like we're at that point however. Rule under Hamas isn't working in Gaza - they use their money to buy extravagant houses and vehicles for themselves, as well as weapons to use against Israel, while their own people starve. It's gotten so bad that now the people of Gaza are rioting against them, and Hamas is looking to escalate things against Israel to distract from this. They also want to embarrass Netanyahu before the elections, and Iran (which Hamas is a proxy of) is looking for an excuse to attack Israel.

The faction has warned that if there are any casualties in the March of Return demonstrations, Hamas will engage in full-out war against Israel. They believe Israel will start a war before the elections anyway. Israel has also warned they will use force if the border fence is breached. It's highly possible either will happen; border communities in Israel are already being evacuated in advance to the riots this weekend, just encase. An Egyptian delegation has often attempted to broker ceasefires between the faction and Israel, and has been able to prevent a major war between the two.

This time however, they're warning Hamas they won't intervene if they escalate the situation this weekend. There are also conflicting reports of agreements made that the protests tomorrow will be peaceful, and that the faction agreed with Israel's conditions for peace. But, Hamas has blatantly lied before, and not all of the other Palestinian factions are on board. A lot is culminating as we reach the end of the 70 year fig tree generation that saw Israel's rebirth. Many of us are bracing for a potential climax by next week, we'll see what happens.

The March of Return protests have ended, with the Palestinians showing "great restraint". Although, about 3 to 4 protestors were killed in the demonstrations. At least one of the factions promised a response in retaliation, and started posting mysterious rhetoric on Twitter. Rockets are now being launched at Israeli communities near Gaza, while half an army is breathing down their neck ready to launch an offensive into the strip. Should be interesting to see where this goes; only a few days left until the Israeli new year and elections. This provocation is going to be blamed on "rogue factions" I'm sure, to make Israel look like the aggressor.

These great events are called "labour pangs" because they usher in the new creation, "the regeneration" spoken of in Matthew 19:28 (see note there). St. Paul writes (Romans 8:22), "The whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now." The tribulations and calamities which preceded and accompanied the overthrow of the Jewish polity are a sign and warning of the great and universal woes Which shall herald the day of judgment. Jewish writings speak of "the sorrows of Messiah," distresses, wars, famine, dissension, etc., which should herald his advent, and Christ may have used the popular opinion, true as far as it went, as a vehicle for conveying the further truth, that the coming age would be produced amid terrible agonies of men, peoples, and nature.

(8) The beginning of sorrows.—The words mean strictly, the beginning of travail pangs. The troubles through which the world passes are thought of as issuing in a “new birth”—the “regeneration” of Matthew 19:28. So St. Paul speaks of the whole creation as “travailing in pain together” (Romans 8:22). So a time of national suffering and perplexity is one in which “the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth” (Isaiah 37:3).

Your position on Olivet Discourse is NOT harmonized because you are trying to apply the prophecies of Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 to 70AD Jerusalem based on the writing of Josephus. You got wrong Jerusalem.

At its heart, whether partial Preterist, Dispensationalists, Premillennialists, or any error, are simply people who do not recognize the voice of God in the Scripture. In the case of the Preterists, they have gagged and muted God so that Josephus can speak, and in their allegiance to their sacred method, they oppose the truth, and for this, they think they are doing God a favor.
