Personally as a woman I hate the argument "well what will it do for the men watching her?" That's their problem if their lusting. Who cares if a guy looks at your girlfriend in a bikini, they probably look at her when she's not wearing a bikini. If she wants to wear a bikini she shouldn't have to worry about some idiot guy on the beach taking a peek, let her live her life and feel attractive in a bikini if that's what she chooses.

Men were made by our creator to be visual. We are called to be modest. It is not that men are oogling over some scantily clad girl, but rather (as I understand it) when they see it, oogling or not, it causes arrousal and the image stick in their mind. It is not their fault, it is the way they were made. I am not saying that it is alright for some guy to be a peeping tom or whatever, men should be respectful of a womans privacy, but women should also be respectful of the way than men are made and keep themselves respectfully covered.
