I've got two tickers now in my signature to help motiviate me. I'm tracking my weight loss and my activity level. I googlemapped the trail I take and it's 1.1 miles (although it feels a lot longer than that...) each way. Somedays I walk it, some days I bike it. The offroad trail I take is a lot shorter but it's uphill on the way in so it's much more cardio.

I'm super glad my body is adjusting to bike rides. The seat doesn't hurt anymore.

And I've lost a total of 5lbs this week. That brings the total since I started in late January to 35lbs! I'm determined to keep going as long as it takes to get all the weight off. Even if it takes a while. They say slow weightloss is the best.

Well, if I can easily find the calories posted, like you said, that would help. I signed up on Sparkpeople anyway, so I can track at least my exercise and any weight loss that happens. I looked at their "suggested" meals for me, though, and I'm like...they want to kill me...lol. Stuff like flax and blueberries and herbal tea...:sick: I'm sure it would be healthy but it would also be miserable lol. I'm trying to find some decent ideas, though. Thanks for suggesting the site! Accountability is a big help, for sure.

Good for you! I've had the signatures turned off for so long, I've completely forgotten about the tickers. I should start that again; seeing progress is a great motivator.
