Toning up is good. I'm working on that too. Part of my workout routine involves weights and other toning exercises.
I know the "contest" part of this thread never happened, but I am truly happy to see that people are using this thread for encouragement and accountability. I am really happy people can come here and ask questions and get helpful tips and hints.
I know how to lose weight and how to do things right. I was a PE/Health major in college so the head knowledge part is easy. My biggest obstacle has always been my motivation to actually do it.
Well, I recently have found someone who makes me want to get healthy so I can be there for her for lots and lots of years. We have been taking walks together and helping each other make healthy food choices.
Basicly, I just want to encourage everyone to find someone to work out with and keep you motivated. For me, it is a romantic relationship, but that is not the only option. Find that work out partner.. It makes it so much easier!
